That's not official and actually doesn't say anything about having to watch the conferences live.

Again, as I mentioned above, they're not "always" for just watching live. The link you've provided is an unofficial guide, which actually says you may be able to get them by replaying the conferences. The official guide mentions nothing about only watching live.

This. Thank you.

Been saying this from the get go. Seems like no one believes me or whatever. Always watch streams live unless told otherwise. dalger21

You can keep on saying it. If you would read our posts, you would see we all have been saying we're getting emblems for watching live and recorded conferences as well as not getting emblems for watching live and recorded conferences. There is no rhyme or reason to the emblems this year and, frankly, we're just trying to make sense of it and to let the admins/devs know so they can address it. Constantly restating your mantra doesn't actually help any one of us who are simply trying to help figure out where the emblems are and or should be.

Got the Day 2 emblem today even though the picture says "Day 3". Also, in looking at my emblems i noticed i'm missing Sony's and Microsoft's conference emblems and it's definitely been more than a day since. Weird to be missing emblems like that. Mix-ups i get, but what kind of script (awarding emblems) does it's job only half the time? :? Strange.

Edit 6.7.12 (6:30pm EDT):

Copied from my poast here:

I read the first three posts of this thread and i don't believe this is a watching live versus watching non-live issue; and it hase been more than 24 and 72 hours since the emblems should've been awarded to me.

I have the emblem for Ubisoft, which i didn't watch live.
I have the emblem for Nintendo, which i watched live.
I do not have the emblem for Microsoft, which i didn't watch live.
I do not have the emblem for Sony, which i watched live.
I do have the Day 1 thru Day 4 Literature Enthusiast emblems because i have logged on each day to view videos both live and non-live, read articles, visit game-spaces, etc.
I also have the "E3 2012 Connoisseur of the Arts" and the "E3 2012 Safari Documentarian" emblems for their varied achievements.

I've essentially been haunting gamespot's E3 coverage for the last four days. razz.gif I don't know what proof i can offer other than what an admin/dev could find out by looking at my user activity logs, if GS tracks activity. I didn't take screenshots or anything and i haven't been posing with my computer for time-stamped photos. Would affidavits from my family and friends who've watched different bit of E3 coverage work? I mean, we've had my laptop using our tele as a monitor all through E3 thus far.

Technical specs:
Sony VAIO, Windows 7, FireFox (updated), all drivers/software are/is updated and the OS is fully updated, Microsoft Security Essentials constantly running, and my computer is set to completely eliminate cookies, temp files, and LSOs every day.

Any help you can give would be great. Thank you.

Same thing is happening to us. It isn't platform specific either as we've viewed (and thus tried to follow) game titles and promos for all available platforms. We simply can't follow any games. We've resorted to adding them to our wish lists for the time being. *sigh* Back to the E3 coverage i suppose.

If i had to give a definite answer today, i would say so-so. Ask me in another year after we get to experience some of these new releases slated for 2009 and my current opinion may change. We have every system Nintendo has ever made for the US, from the very beginning to the Wii. Currently, we are having a hard time finding games for the Wii that we find really interesting. I'm one of those gamers that can clear levels/areas of play with precise and patient thoroughness and consistency. On the older systems, when i encountered bosses, end-level challenges, etc, i fought and replayed and did over a lot to complete them. Sometimes i even had to have my husband beat a couple bosses, etc, for me. With the N64 that happened a bit less. With the GCN, however, i noticed that happened a lot less often, i completed games smoother, i finished most games in my own, and so on. Some may say that is because i became a better gamer over time, and while that does have some truth to it, even my husband has commented the games with each subsequent system are just easier as we go. With the Wii, so far, i have found it entirely too easy. Most of the games on my PS3 challenge me to my fullest, but Nintendo systems have been feeling easier and easier with each system release. I think the best example of this is Brawl. When we were completing Melee, ALL of us worked on it to complete it. There were things in the Melee some of us could do better than others, but we all had to work together to complete the game. With Brawl, we have each completed it independently and without help from anyone else. Even our kids, who are younger, completed Brawl with ease. We never had to look at a forum or online discussion to get tips to help us with those one or two things that we just can't get done as we have with some other games. It was too simple. Honestly, we were disappointed with the simplicity. Yea, more people in our family are playing with our Wii where they used to scoff at our time spent stressing over levels while playing on the older systems which provided some difficulty or another. And i will be the first to admit that time spent with everyone hanging out indoors during subzero temps, working up a sweat, and rough-housing because we are ALL playing Wii Sports is a lot of fun. That is why is say i like our Wii 'so-so'.

You put some serious work into that. You really should work for GS... :) ...or own them!

I whole heartedly agree and I will pass the word on. I don't have too many friends on GS, but your sig will go in my signature for the time being. I hope it helps.

You really struck on some hard core points and problems that need improving regardless of the rest of it. I hope you get the results you seek and that we all need. Nice work.

I made this one.

It's not linked.  I don't know how to do that yet.  And I'm not very good at this, but here it is.  :)
