I can't help but think that we have brought this upon ourselves. A decade ago we were all drooling over "next gen" graphics. But now I think it is safe to say that Yerli's philosophy is very dated.
- In retrospect, I think developers can still create beautiful, immersive art without detailing hyper-realism. That doesn't mean it has to be hyper-minimalist either. - I hope game developers start to emphasize content while still not compromising creative integrity.
