The battle system's kinda neat, but pretty much everything else around it is kinda bad.

Even if Retro got cold feet, couldn't they have at least put together a teaser? That's really what this conference lacked, teasers. As much as it's good to show off a load of new games they've already made, teasing ones still in development works to get viewers and journalists excited.

As they did say Nintendo provided a good amount of support in getting The Last Story made, I think they would gladly go to work with them again.

Burnout Paradise is probably one of my favourite driving games period, and that Criterion are looking to that to make Need For Speed: Most Wanted, I'm excited.

They are already in the 'handheld' market, Tablets and Smartphones.

While I'm personally more of a Genesis guy myself, both consoles have games that do feel dated. Though there are some that still hold up, like Chrono Trigger and Mario on the SNES, and Sonic and Gunstar Heroes on Genesis.

I'm not sure why they haven't come out with anything in a while either, but my god, what a solid developer! I love Treasure games, I have yet to play a title that was even mediocre from them. In fact, my love for their products is so pronounced, Radiant Silvergun is the single most amount of money I spent of a game, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Not nearly as expensive, I recently bought Mischief Makers on the N64 and it too is such a great game :)

Yeah, if you've never played anything mediocre from them, then I reccommend you steer clear of Silpheed: the lost planet on PS2. It's pretty much a generic scrolling shooter that doesn't have much to set it apart from anything else.

[QUOTE="Shenmue_Jehuty"]

I was never a huge GBA guy, but I've never been a huge handheld guy to be honest. However, I definitely like my DS more than I did my GBA, both are great though. Hey, is the DS technically retro since the 3DS came out? Your thoughts...

Dudersaper
I'd say both PSP and DS should be up for discussion here now since the release of the Vita and the 3DS.

I wouldn't say that would apply just yet, there are still games to come for those systems.

So I recently played Gunstar Heroes again, and then ended up sinking too much money into other Treasure games.

Just got a copy of Stretch Panic, really not sure what to make of that one, it's very strange indeed. Some of the ports on XBLA are really fun.

They haven't really brought out anything new for a while, I wonder what's going on with them.
