Which page were you trying to access the download from? I just tried downloading them from the pastel colored modules on the right column, front door, and it worked. Here's the link if you're not using the Download Manager-- http://www.gamespot.com/pages/gamespace/download_alt.php?sid=6174084&id=6174084
[QUOTE="Teivan"][QUOTE="Goldeneyemaster"]May I suggest to Gamespot that if people use small avatars, it automatically resizes the avatar border so there isn't a huge black space. In other words, have an option to use 80x80 or 36x36. Although I love the big avatars, I do agree that it looks stupid with a bunch of black space around the small avatars.Goldeneyemaster
We show the border so that someone could have a 40x80 if they wanted or whatever. It gives you more flexibility in your avatars. Plus, most 32x32 avatars stretched to 80x80 look *horrible*. We tried it, but trust me, it did not work. That's why the current 'pre-made' sets are still 32x32. I guess I wasn't exactly clear. I don't wan't the smaller avatars stretched. I think I much better way to do avatars would be to not have a set size of 80x80 and a border/frame at all; just show the plain image. That way you can have any sized avatar (under 80x80), without stetching, without a border, and without and all that black space. Many other forums I go to do this, and it works great. Using this method, you can have any sized avatar, 40x80, or whatever, up to 80x80.
Ok I removed the black background and gray border. You guys should see this soon after your cache clears. Just be patient :)
