The next gen systems are do or die for Datel and the other cheat companies. Theyve managed to make a lot of money off of the cheat discs for the PS2 and GameCube, but soon Sony and Nintendo will stop making games for those systems. After a little while, a major part of their income will be cut off, and theyre either going to have to figure out a way to circumvent the security measures of the companies, or try making a living off of memory devices.

What I cant understand is why they cant just make a downloadable application connected to a cheat database. That way, it would be easilly updatable, have all the codes you need, and it would get rid of the auto load problem. Kind of like the action replay for the DS, where you start the game through the application. And Sony wouldnt have any say in what you download onto your system. Of course, theyre going to have to keep away from online games.
