That's the prob. it's a laptop. No changing that gfx card. and if you can, it probably costs as much as a new laptop. Not sure the card though.

This game is awesome and i'm really enjoying it but i have one major beef with it, and it doesn't effect me. My younger cousin who plays wow, swtor, starcraft and diablo 3 can't play gw2 because his gfx card is not up to snub. However, he's playing all those other mmos on decent settings with his gaming laptop.

If he can't play gw2, alot of people can't. And, that's going to hurt their player base. Not everyone is going to kick up $1000 or more to play a $50 game, no matter how good it is. It's defiintely a mistake on arenanets part to not include those with what would seem to be decent gaming systems, but aren't up to gw2 standards.

I'm running on a gtx680 custom built super computer so it doesn't affect me any. But I can't help but to feel alittle bad for my cousing and anyone else who is able to play other top mmos and pc games but are unable to run gw2. It's alittle strange honestly...

I played the free trial of gw1 and didn't really like it at all. Granted, I didn't play it much but it didn't make a grand impression. This however has. More so than the other mmos that i've tried to jump to. This game may not be for everyone, but it sure seems like it's for me.

I'm a long time Wow player. I've played other mmos such as Rift, DCUO and betas for every up and coming mmo that hits the market. I'm always looking for the next big thing in the mmo genre. Something to take me away from wow which has 8 years worth of patches, expansions and improvements. After many disapointments from other games, I can say Guild Wars 2 is very impressive. And, I'm not at all a fan of the 1st title. So no fan boy talk from me. I'm only 2 days into it however, i'm really enjoying this game. There's an immediate difference between this and other mmo's I've tried to love, such as Rift. You know right off the bat...this is a keeper. It's very well done. Best graphics i've seen in an mmo(even better than tera imo.) and the combat is excellent. Great combo of an action rpg and traditional mmo controls. The story and questing shine in this game. You can immerse yourself in this world and the questing is very fun. The way you spec your character in this game is amazing though. You have a great many options to make your character unique. Different weapons bring differenct abilities for one. You can also effectively dodge in combat and the feel of the controls are excellent imo. The story and the questing in gw2 mixes it up ALOT! I have yet to do a fetch or kill 10 things quest after 13 levels of play. Also, the world vs world pvp is really fun. Another note is this game's pve is much more difficult than wow as you level. Not terribly hard like dark souls but still, it can be a real challenge at times. I like that. I can already tell, i'll be in this world for some time to come.

Hey guys, NWA is recruiting on the Sorrow's Furnace realm. We'll be enjoying every aspect of GW2. We're set on downing world events, dungeons, end game and every aspect of PVP. We're a laid back, helpful, and fun guild. So, if this sounds like a guild you may be interested in...Shoot me a message either in-game (character: Rawk Steady) or out.

Thanks!

Guild Wars 2 has action combat. You block, dodge, attack all manually. No auto attack. GW2 looks great and will be a big deal. No monthly fees also. Do some research, you may find that it is for you.
