yes, yes it is. BS is a great looking game, I have no shame in admitting that for sure. It just cracks me up when people say all these things. I'm not sure if it's because they don't like FPS's, the plot, etc....but either way, it's generating hype for it.

I hope HV can deliver us a quality game.

Just a question, how do you think BS measure up to TC(The Conduit) graphically? BYW yes this hype is interesting, its pretty crazy how every thread on this game explodes.

I've honestly never played BS myself. I've saw a friend playing for a very small amount of time (like, under 5 mins)...so I'm not going to get myself too deep. I have however, saw many screens of the game. It is a very good looking game, so I have respect for it.

The thing I don't understand is why soooo many people make such a huge deal about graphics is....it just looks smoother. Don't get me wrong, I love a good looking game just as much as the next person, but it just makes me chuckle a little. It's still the same thing "we've all" been playing since last gen, just smoother. At least we get something new... whether people want to admit it or not.

But as far as the Conduit holding up to Bioshock, that's a tough one. I'm going to have to say...Bioshock will obviously look better, have better effects, etc. It better damn well have all the above...you pay more for the game and the system so I expect more out each. But, I will say that the Conduit will be in the top 5 best looking games for the Wii.

High Voltage is getting some competition though, have you seen the screens for Silent Hill? That game looks fantastic (visually) for the Wii.

Judging from the screens from Silent Hill, it blows Conduit away. But we don't know how many characters are going to be on-screen, or how far the draw distance is, since a low number of enemies with a small draw distance would explain the excellent lighting.

I might pick it up. It'll have to be a pretty big improvement over HotD Overkill, though. That game's doing a pretty good job of satisfying my light gun needs.

Yeah, you really need to read the interview.

jmangafan

:D any link.. where was teh interview? I sadly miss teh whole event and I have just read some stuff in kotaku.com and GS (one update) so i`ll really like where taht interview is.. Thx.

All the information out so far is in the new Nintendo Power (The USA Nintendo Power if there's any confusion). If you search around, you might be able to find some scans.

IGN has an inerview and some new screens up. There's also an eyes-on, but most people here seem to hate Matt, so read at your own risk.

I must have terrible taste in box art, because this is like the third box art where I like it but everyone else is saying how terrible it is.

GabuEx

Nah, it's not you. I think a lot of people just want to hate on the game just to hate on the game. It's sad that there are so many people saying it looks like shovelware boxart. How do you confuse the quality of this box art with the quality of these box arts:

Maybe you don't like the box art, that's cool. It's your opinion, so whatever, right? But to say that it looks like shovelware? I don't understand that.

They need to make this demo downloadable on the Wii Shop Channel, so that people have a chance to try it before June.

snover2009

Nah, if you're going to do a demo, just allow people to download deathmatch. Multiplayer sells games better than single player.

Zelda with minimalist plot. Screw the dialogue, let the game world tell the story.

WiiWare games have like a 40Mb limit, and the biggest N64 games take up a fraction of the 512Mb storage. When you're done playing, the game is removed from the 512 and put back on the SD card.

So no, it's not really bottlenecked unless you fill up your 512Mb (which would be kinda dumb if you have an SD), and if it is full, the Wii will offer to automatically move your files to the SD card.
