You didn't think it was possible for CoD games to change even less? Well Infinity Ward is here to prove you wrong!
Alright Infinity Ward, this is where I'm afraid I've got to get off the Call of Duty bandwagon. I, like everybody else, marveled over Call of Duty 4 when it was first released and was excited to see where the series woul... Read Full Review12 of 13 users found the following review helpful
About 3 years after the release of Gears of War 2, Epic games has finally delivered the conclusion to the series with Gears of War 3, a game that has been received very well from critics and fans alike. Gears has never b... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
One third of the great game it should be, two thirds a mind-numbing chore, SA2 is a lackluster, dull Sonic experience.
I can see it now from Sonic fanboys: "How can you NOT like SA2?" "It's the best Sonic game ever, and the best game of ALL time!" "If you don't like SA2, you aren't a real Sonic fan!!!" These were all comments I r... Read Full Review1 of 5 users found the following review helpful
Not as bad as many fans have claimed it to be, but not great either. Read on for a balanced opinion of Black Ops.
I've been playing Call of Duty ever since it first premiered on consoles in Call of Duty: Finest Hour. Looking back at that game, it's pretty amazing how far the series, and video games in general, have come since 2004. ... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
Surprisingly weak in the horror department, F.3.A.R. still stands as the most complete F.E.A.R. experience to date.
Being a big fan of the F.E.A.R. series, I was playing close attention to the previews of F.3.A.R. After the fun but flawed second entry in the series, the biggest thing I wanted from F.3.A.R. was to bring the series back... Read Full Review0 of 1 users found the following review helpful
9.3. Nine point freaking Three. This is the score that Street Fighter 4 holds on Metacritic, making it not just the best rated fighting game on consoles, but one of the best games period. I play a pretty wide range of fi... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
This was a game I was very excited for, being a fan of the Warhammer tabletop game. I finally got a hold of this game today since only 1 in the 5 stores I checked carried it, and I was pleased with the game but was also ... Read Full Review10 of 12 users found the following review helpful
Much, much better than many critics (Especially Gamespot) give it credit for, but not perfect. Read on to find out why..
Well, AvP for the 360 is a game I have waited for for quite some time now. When I looked for reviews on release and saw that many were mediocre to bad, I hesitated in picking this up. But in the end I gave in, mainly bec... Read Full Review5 of 6 users found the following review helpful
There are NUMEROUS flaws here, but it surprisingly does quite a bit right in 2010 that most games haven't yet achieved.
NOTE: The review for this game is FAR longer than most of my reviews. If you just want the basic facts without long reading, head to the bottom for a streamlined summary. Gracias. With the new Aliens versus Predator g... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
It may not be the definitive version of Halo 2, but it's a great reboot of an Xbox classic that holds up well today.
Normally, I write pretty long, in depth reviews of games, but I feel that Halo 2 is well known enough that I don't need to talk about the storyline, the matchmaking, etc. So instead I'm going to focus this review on the ... Read Full Review0 of 0 users found the following review helpful
New story, new hero, new Halo 3 maps, Firefight mode, new features... What else could you possibly want in an expansion?
First off, to you BS3 fanboys, youpeople seriously need to grow up. People have complained for so long that MS fanboys go around insulting any good PS3 games, but the reality is that you hypocrites continue to give great... Read Full Review3 of 6 users found the following review helpful
It's got flaws to be certain, but sweet graphics, addictive online, and tactical co-op make this worth a purchase!
Gamespot really has to stop letting people review games that aren't good enough at them to do the basics. This same scenario happened with AvP earlier this year when they complained that the controls were too difficult f... Read Full Review6 of 8 users found the following review helpful
This game tore out my soul. An overexaggeration, you may ask? Could any game actually be so bad as to make you feel like a part of you is missing? That you aren't quite the person you once were? Well, the answer to th... Read Full Review3 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Think a collaboration with both groups of survivors from both L4D games would HAVE to be great? Think again. A letdown
Before I write this review, I should mention that I'm a huge fan of Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, and that I have played both avidly since their release. When I heard that both groups of survivors were going to meet up in a new c... Read Full Review8 of 10 users found the following review helpful
Top notch multiplayer (off or online) coupled with the best SC story yet make this a must buy, despite some minor flaws.
Splinter Cell has always been a game about evolution. The first game revolutionized the stealth game genre, Pandora Tomorrow created a whiz bang multiplayer mode, Chaos Theory refined both the campaign and multiplayer al... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Improves the gameplay factor from GH3, but the track list, sadly is not what I had hoped.. a real letdown.
Guitar Hero World Tour, how you let me down... After finishing this game, I'm still in awe at how Neversoft could add so many improvements to the actual gameplay, but leave the actual track list to die. It should b... Read Full Review1 of 2 users found the following review helpful
Review of Fable 2: Collector's Edition I never played the first Fable, but from what I can understand from the reviews it was a pretty good RPG game that had some features missing and was too short compared to most RP... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
I was VERY lucky to have a copy of Soulcalibur 4 sold to me early at the local videogame store. So I was able to play the game around a week before it was even released. And now that gamespot will finally let me review i... Read Full Review2 of 3 users found the following review helpful
When I first saw the previews for this game, I really didn't know what to expect. It seemed a little too unusual for me and I am not a fan of platformers in general. However, after reading a few reviews, I decided to buy... Read Full Review1 of 1 users found the following review helpful
From the previews, it was pretty obvious that Super Smash Bros Brawl was going to be the hit game that the Wii needed to appeal to non-casual gamers. But I was never expecting it to become this amazing. For me, Brawl did... Read Full Review3 of 3 users found the following review helpful
I wont spend too much time on this review, but Ill just give you the basics: Colonies is a great rerelease of a great shooter that adds plenty of new content to warrant its purchase. The online modes are much improved ov... Read Full Review4 of 4 users found the following review helpful
Its a pretty good game that is vastly redeemed by its excellent graphics and a large multiplayer community.
I had pretty high hopes for this game from the previews I had seen for it and for the most part, this game delivers on its promises. The main reason I didnt rate this game higher was because of its single player campaign... Read Full Review2 of 2 users found the following review helpful
