I feel like it's been established that MGS was released in '98 and not everything is going to add up, it just isn't.

Not to mention that's just about the only full body picture of him.

Does it matter? Let's give Kojima some slack here, it's been painful enough knitting this sweater backwards.

I really do. All issues aside, when my grenediers get in that first skirmish (online or offline) it all begins. It turns into part speed i.e. getting those troops/upgrades in the queue, and squad tactics. I find a 1v1 shoot out with the Russians can go bad quick. If you don't get the better terrain, that next squad of conscripts will be right on you. Just when I think it's going south for my squad, "Stug reporting!" I haven't played the Russians once.

It may be rough around the edges but there's more to a game than that. It great how each type of unit, given the right circumstances, can really hold it's own, or in some cases alter the outcome of a skirmish. I can't say I love the AI opponents or using the D-Pad but I truely enjoy pitting my army against an equal Russian opponent online.

I completely agree. Victory Points seem very speed orientated and agressive. It would be nice to set up my own game so as to set a more friendly atmosphere in the room. I've noticed players and be very unforgiving for someone who may mostly play on their own and developed a personal strategy. Yeah.

First, I didn't like how it was constantly loading smallish areas - took me out of the experience sometimes but I think I might get used to that. Also I didn't like the time limit thing but I doubt that's in the full game...

SNESNOSTALGIA2
It tries to immerse you visually but at it's core it's still a game and it has many stipulations to contend with. Those loading screens can be a tactict them selves, leaving a an area to heal is a great help. I don't see much in having a time limit but it does factor in sometimes or if you're alone. If it takes you 50min to kill something...maybe starting over is the best option... Not to say it there isn't long 1v1 battles you'll run into, that's when the 50min can be troublesome but it builds towards the climax of defeating an exceptionally difficult monster. Good luck in your hunting!
