How do people measure this? Infinity Ward developers were saying that COD 4 was on top, with a gamtrailers guy interviewing him and agreeing, but every time ive ever signed on XBL, halo 3 has significantly more users on.
Wait, what? I'm saying halo 3 requires a lot of skill, COD 4 is just shoot someone before he sees you. What you described as halo 3 is 100% fundamental
If that's actually all you do, then I wish to see your gamer tag and laugh at ur k/d
^ (wreak) guy above me has summed up what I've been saying the whole time - in COD 4, 80% of your kills come from shooting someone who doesn't know you're there, and what makes it easier is that the guns kill in 3 shots. In halo, people see you before you see them, no big deal, just have better aim than them and you can win, or have better weapons for the given situation, or use cover that can't be shot through. Honestly, on backlot, the machine gun that is placed in the large warehousish building can be fired at an angle where it shoots through THREE brick walls
and I don't want to say my gamer tag because I know all the anti halo 3 boys and the COD 4 fanboys are going to give me bad rep and report me for random stuff. I know that I have the stats, so that's all that matters for me to know that h3 is very skill involved
[QUOTE="MetacriticPark"]LOL there are so many of you noobs here...
What game takes more skill than halo 3 for the xbox 360? NONE - Call of Duty 4 is INCREDIBLY easy. Take my word for it, I have a 2.72 k/d in COD 4 at rank 48 in 2nd prestige (so u cant say im playing noobs). All COD 4 is is using UAV to know where enemy is, go behind them, and shoot them with the no recoil 50 round P90.
Halo requires real aim, I know for a fact that all of you noobs bashing halo are god awful at it. I can honestly say I own in 95% of the games I play COD 4, whereas my k/d in h3 is only 2.14 and I have a really hard time doing that.
krypton04
Yet I have about a 2.4 to 1 kill ratio in Halo, but about 0.77 to 1 kill ratio in CoD4, sooo HALO 3 NO SKILLZ!! REQUIRED!!
Or...I suck at CoD4. I'm going with the latter.
haha, but my question really is, all the COD 4 fanboys, where do they think the skill lies in playing the game?
Video games are hand eye coordination bud, there are more skills than those required in sports. I don't know how you took the word skill and got from it a definition that applies only to sports. There are skills in everything in the world, from cooking to playing a video game, to performing surgery on a person with heart disease. I'm not too sure that MJ could do the last one, but he was incredible at basketball
