From what i've heard, ESPN is in talks to get EPL rights, and will be turning Classic into a soccer-centric ESPN3 (or something of that sort), with soccer as the cornerstone of the channel.[QUOTE="fillini"]Yea, the coverage erks me. US vs. England was on ESPN Classic for crying out loud. it was a shame. espn is still making poor decisions with their coverage.bluezy
Plus, you've got MLS Primetime Thursdays, and the new Fox Soccer Channel.
Now we just need some good commentators... I'll take any of the guys from the EPL any day of the week. In terms of play in MLS, I want to say that the quality has improved over the past couple of years. The influential players that we've brought over have affected team styles of play and have brought, what I believe, more attractive soccer. David Beckham has brought loads of attention to the league and frankly I don't really give a care. I just want to watch good soccer in a good environment. I can only pray that the atmosphere of some MLS matches match foreign matches (Props to you TFC fans) Of course, there are matches were I watch and just say "This is horrible", but then again, this happens with every sport. MLS still has a looong way to go in order to be the caliber of many of the world's major leagues.
