Dude.. not to be a dick but its 2013. Why are people still asking about system requirements.. Like its so easy to find out for yourself, you can probably just go to the D3 website and look at the recommended systems specs to run it smoothly and then just compare the numbers with whats on yours.

With all that said, dw bro i got your back and ill tell you, after skimming over the system spec page of your computer for about 3 seconds, yes your computer will run this game, its not a system hog of any kind until you get a million **** on your screen. The only thing that concerns me is the Intel graphics card, im sure itll run it, i just dont know if youll be able to go full out in a full out battle, nahmsayin?

Now if i may just add, think about getting a desktop over the labtop if its an option, im not sure if your getting it specifically for gaming and if you need the mobility, but a desktop would definitely be a better option for gaming cause you get way more outta yoru cashola. With that said, dont buy diablo 3, it sucks. Lol, or atleast it did when it first came out cause i got my money back for it. My 2 cents.

Call me blind but I don't see a processor on that setup...? By the way, your friend just flushed about $500 down the drain ($600-$650 if no processor). Yes, Intel > AMD still. 8800GTS 320MB or 512MB? The former is considered a low/mid range card. The latter is still a fighter, and will bring out high / max settings easily on most modern games.

Lol sorry, in the specs he gave me he must have forgot the CPU, im pretty sure its some AMD 3.0ghz dual core processor. Dont remember the specifics. And my card isthe 640 version actually. But ill double check when i get back.

A buddy of mine ordered a computer, rather quickly, and now hes second guessing it, he spent 1k on this comp, and he wants to know if this is the best he can get for the money. I'm pretty sure he could get something more powerful, so ofcourse i came to good ol' gamespot for some advice.

Heres his computer's specs:

ASUS M3A78-CM AM2+780 2xPCI/1PCI-E 16X
4D.DDR2-1066 DDR 2 2 GB PC6400 800MHz Ram
Seagate 500GB SATA 3G 32MB 7200.9 Hard drive
EVGA 9800GT 1 GB DDR3 PCIE
Antec Sonata III Mini Tower ATX w/ 500w USB/Audio/E-SATA AC97 Software Sound
LG 20X DVD +/- RW GH-20NS15 SATA Drive (Black)
MS Windows Vista Home Premium License & media 64 bit

I consider myself to be pretty knowledgeable when it comes to computers, its just i've been so outta the loop when it comes to hardware, so I dont really know whats up these days. Is intel still > AMD? And how are we when it comes to video cards, i remember when my 8800GTS used to own some major face.

Anyway, if someone could whip me up a computer for about 1k with the essentials: MOBO, RAM, Videocard, Processor, Case, Harddrive and that should be good.

Much appreciated.

lol, portforwarding isnt a program, its something you do in your router control panel. So if your using a router, go to your browser and type either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 and try to find the section with Port Forwarding, then your just going to select the game and go from there, it varies from router to router.

What would be the best motherboard for recording/audio purposes? Im thinking more of a general/all around mobo?

Would something like the P5W DH Deluxe suffice?
