I remember playing this game on the Windows 95, I think it came out in the early 90s, you control a "plane" that always keeps going, as the screen moves forward, he is at the center bottom of the screen. Sort of like a mega advanced version of 1942, but I don't remember ever flying over water. It was in color. You mostly blew up modern stuff like jeeps or helicopters, but the bosses were futuristic giant fortresses. Your projectiles were orange, and you could upgrade them. You blew up buildings and roads that weren't your enemies, and the graphics were pretty good.

EDIT: It was mostly flying over ground, with maybe a few rivers, the ground was mostly brown, and it scrolled up. Also it didn't seem very Japanese-ish.

Hi, I'm looking for more games like Spectromancer and Heroes of Might and Magic IV, I really enjoyed those games. They got those distinct artstyles, abilities, and RPG elements to them, wondering if you guys know any other. Here are some screenshots of them: http://t2.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:UCJOO_Ngz0EjOM:http://armchairempire.com/images/previews/pc/heroes_of_might_and_magic_4/heroes_of_might_and_magic_4_3.jpg&t=1

All right you guys, so I want to buy a headset that works for both PC and PS3. Is it that all/most USB Headsets are fine with both? If not, what do I need? Logitech?

And if I were to get a Bluetooth adapter thingy for my pc, what is it actually called, how expensive are they, and would the official bluetooth headset work fine on a PC (with an adapter, that is). Thanks in advance.

[QUOTE="McHating"] when I run Steam, i ahve less bytes to go around, CPU's dedicated to itChiliDragon
When I run Steam on my system, it uses up between 15 and 32MB of RAM, and about 2% CPU power. If your computer takes a noticeable performance hit from that you shouldn't be gaming on it to begin with. :)

Oh, that's right, I forgot, I can choose how much processing power I have, it's all up to me, cuz I make 5000 dollars an hour playing video games YEA!

And maybe it's a matter of principle?

What the hell? Did I insult your favorite games to the point that I don't like RPGs if I don't like them? I like Diablo 2, the dialogue options of KOTOR, just not the fighting, Fallout 3's RPG elements.

if i see another "recommend me some" thread im going to puke. use proper english please....

-recommend to me

-recommend a

either is acceptable.

Roland123_basic

You're criticising my English? Please, don't tell me the above look, in any way, sahpe or form, "proper", to you. You're not contributing to the topic at hand or answering my question, so this is paramount to spam, or thread hijack (I'm not sure what the Gamespot forum rules actually are, so I do not mean this literally).

I must also ask what it is you find wrong with the phrase "recommend me some". I may not be a native English speakers, and I am a child, but I do quite well in English Language Arts Advanced Placement, and I see nothing wrong with the aforementioned phrase.

Back to the topic at hand: I dislike Dragon Age Origins, but If Neverwinter Nights has no bugs I'm seriously considering it. Also, I don't have Oblivion for the PC, so this airship mod is out, unfortunately.

Then I play some of my physical copy games while they are fixing the problem, and if I never have access to my games again, then I call my bank and start reversing charges on their ass. That should fix it REALLY fast.

I'd be annoyed, but fortunately pretty much all of the games I have on Steam are just cheap crap I bought...because it was cheap. I still buy new games from the store, generally. I'm not a big fan of Steamworks, if you're wondering. I only have one game that requires Steam, and I didn't know that when I bought it. I bought the game on another DD service, so the idea that it would require Steam simply didn't occur to me.

StopThePresses

The problem is, I wasn't given a choice. CSS only runs on Steam. If I was given a choice of have a normal game, or jodo Steam, which do you think I would pick? I mean, I need internet to play my games, and when I run Steam, i ahve less bytes to go around, CPU's dedicated to it, and damn, I can't log in 5% of the time, which is f*cking huge considring I paid for my games. And what happens when Steam goes out of bussiness? I lose my games? Probably, cuz they'll be old, and no one'll care I paid for them.

Damn OP, now you have me regretting my decisions sadface

[QUOTE="McHating"]A good RPG, that is actually an RPG, not some action game with RPG elemtns, and also, not a MMORPG. I would prefer a fantasy one, but not required.ChiliDragon
Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 Neverwinter Nights 2 The Witcher And take a look at the Bethesda sale on Steam right now. They have Fallout 3, Oblivion and Morrowind, all of them Game of the Year editions with all the expansions included, at between 50% and 75% off.

I put down KOTOR after 3 mins, the combat I hated, but it actually looks pretty good otherwise - I love the whole deal with dialogue changing things and all that, especially KOTOR's.

I have Fallout 3 and Oblivion, don't like them too much though - they feel so anoying, what with all the travelling, and there's nothing to do in Fallout 3 once you're done, - which I'm not, but the game freezes every time I go near Germantown Police HQ.

I also hear Neverwinter Nights has LOTS of bugs. I absolutely hate all the bugs in fallout 3 and Oblivion, if it has more than that I wouldn't be able to play it.
