Battlefield 3.

I just got a 360 for Christmas, so I only have abou 80 hours logged so far. Definetly going to be more though.

Here's one with similar specs for about $200 cheaper. Gives you plenty of room to customize it

I didn't look too closely while making the list, just trying to get in the ballpark performance wise, so please don't reply angrily if I chose bad specs.

For gaming it should be pretty good. You should get pretty decent frame rates in most games.

However, unless you're completely, totally, 100% set on a pre-built, I'd recommend that you build one yourself. In addition to being able to hand pick your parts, it's a great learning experience, easier than you'd think, and it's probably a good idea to learn more about upgrading and replacing if you're going to get into PC gaming.

Not to mention, it's a lot of fun :D

Here's an awesome website that can help you plan a build

http://pcpartpicker.com/parts/partlist/

It gives you a lsit of components compatable with what you've already chosen, and becuase it searches several different merchants, you get the best deal.

What are you planning to use to convert the electronic[QUOTE="Blistrax"]

The sound card does not convert the electronic signals into sound. I mean what sort of speaker setup, or do you game exclusively with headphones, or what? And what will the rig be used for?

I'll probably use my headset most of the time, but I have some pretty decent PC speakers too

Decend speakers =?

It's not a huge, hundreds of dollars surround set setup, just two PC speakers that put out some crisp, clean, load sound. Had surround sound until one set broke

Sound cards usually sound better than onboard, I for one can't stand onboard at all, sounds so low quality in comparison to a decent sound card.

What's considered a 'decent; sound card? Because looking at PC Part Picker, I see prices ranging from $10 to over $200

Well obviously a sound card is required, I just want to know what makes a seperate PCIe one different from one built into the motherboard

I'm designing a rig to build (once I get a job [student, not just unemployed]), and I was wondering why use a PCIe Sound Card instead of just the one built into the MB? Do the PCIe ones have higher quality? Do some motherboards not have one built in?

BTW, here's what I've designed so far. (Constructive critsims only pleaseĀ :D )

I just watched Gamespot's The Gun Show on Bioshock Infinite, and it looks really awesome.

After watching this, I want to get Bioshock Infinite.

I have the 1st one, but I haven't finished it. Will I miss much of the story? Because from what Ive played of 1 and seen of Infinite, they seems like they're not related at all.
