Also what's with all the morons complaining about all the bugs....? It's a beta, FFS. It's created to find and nuke these bugs before final versions are shipped out. I remember playing the BF3 beta and it was buggy as hell for the first few days, then updates smoothed it out, and the retail version eliminated almost all the bugs I saw in the beta. Come on, kids. Have a little patience.
Wait, I could have sworn before I heard some quack at Microsoft bleating out about how the performance figures of the consoles were the same....and now they're saying "well our console may not be as good from a processing standpoint, but our games are better."
Better yet, Microsoft keeps believing they're doing a good job with this console lol. The game lineup for both consoles is good. Each has games I want. But the fact is I don't want to spend an extra $100 on something that's headed straight for a box in the basement (Kinect). I'd rather take the PS4 and a couple of games or another controller or something. I will only buy an Xbox One when used ones are reasonably priced or when Microsoft finally pulls their heads out of their asses and gives the consumer what they want: Kinect-free bundle for $399.
Nothing has happened to it. It still remains a fantastic game. There is something known as change and evolution, kids. It's a fact. If Assassin's Creed kept making game after game after game in the same location and the same time period, then it would be another Call of Duty, and people would criticize it for being unimaginative. But then they change and move to new sceneries, and you guys are bitching about it?
I liked brotherhood and the original. Didn't get into the second one, and Revelations was simply too much -- Ezio too old at that point (both in age and the THIRD game to star him as a character). But AC3 has been spectacular. I love it. The scenery and era that AC4 takes place in is one of my favorite. I don't buy into this commentary at all. Sorry.

Two years ago I built a computer. It ran in at about $1000. Could have been cheaper. Went a little overkill on the case (got a full when a half would have sufficed), 16gb of RAM, 2TB hard drive, and it seems like a 1000W PSU (I say it seems because my brother fried it trying to overclock it, and, quite frankly, I wasn't impressed with the performance the system had over my console to bother investing the time or money to fix it). Granted, technology is better now, and $1000 now builds a FAR superior rig to that which I built 2 years ago.
So, i built this rig with some mid-high to high-range hardware. Still lagged on highest settings on SCII when a medium battle was going on the screen. Lagged on Skyrim as well when everything was dialed up. This was with GPU and CPU overclocked to the max.
To build a PC that plays Battlefield 3 on Ultra, you need to fork out at least $1,000. Battlefield 4 runs something more like $1200+. If you're content with playing a step below the maximum graphics, then sure, PCs are great. But I don't think it's worth $1000 for that slightly more detailed fruit-stand in some random corner of a map. Because anybody saying PC looks better on medium settings than a console does it just lying to themselves. I am merely saying """"----I---""" was not impressed with how much the PC cost me compared to what performance increase I got.
That said, if somebody gave me $3000 and said I could have either a ridiculous PC rig or a PS4, Xbox One, and and great big, super high def projector or TV, i would take the PC. PC on Ultra looks AMAZING. But I would not spend my hard-earned cash for that slight increase in graphics, and it DOES cost many more Benjamins to get noticeable performance increase from console to PC. Like my initial comment said, does PC look better? Of fucking course. But it comes with a price that is too hefty for those of us with bills, mortgages, and children to look after, to justify (A.K.A., those of us living on planet reality). When it comes to my own money, I'd much rather have a PS4 and Xbox One over a PC that can hardly play the latest games on medium/high detail -- and it does cost $800 to get a rig capable of doing that. That's just the truth of it.
Of fucking course they can't. But show me a PC that can do what the consoles can do for $400. PCs certainly do look better...but $800+ better? LOL. Nope.
