nextgenisps3: Actually, in terms of resolution the PS3 has the exact same parameters as the X360. The other stuff you mention will vary depending on game implementation. In terms of raw graphical power, the X360 wins outright. The PS3 can however preprocess data on the Cell for the RSX, making it catch up a bit. And about textures, because the x360 shares video and system memory, it has the potential to reserve more memory for textures than the PS3. But it's practicaly locked at 256 mb in most current games, which is the exact same value as the PS3. But this is hardly the place to play system advocacy :-) The article is nice for beginners, but contains no usefull information for power users.
momfus: NWN? You're kidding, right? The game has no story whatsoever. It's just running around killing monsters and taking their stuff. It seriously sucks. Try Fallout. It ran fine on my P90.
I understand Gamespot has the latest hardware. Heck, even I have decent hardware. The trouble is that many readers don't. So pleeeease run your tests on reasonably popular hardware...
