@LucentWolf @MTMind2 - Fair enough, I did ask for your personal reasons and hence you mentioned Kinect, since you do not use any device that has a camera.

However, I find it interesting that you're online at all, since although you may be anonymous here via your chosen alias, you are certainly not anonymous to the same government who can just as easily spy on your IP packets, and hence use the same programs to identify specific triggers in all your online posts and emails, as well as monitor all the websites you visit and everything you upload and download. In fact, they would have been doing that long before internet connected cameras became so common place. And let's not forget about landline phones too!

For me personally, 'they' (whoever 'they' are) can spy on me as much as they like :)

@LucentWolf @MTMind2 - Thanks for your reply, but I really don't see anything there that represents you being "f***ed" as a gamer, just things you don't like or you're concerned about.

For example, the 24 hour check-in was just that, one check-in every 24 hours. Some seem to have the idea that the moment their internet goes down then the XBox One would have stopped working. That was not the case. The internet would have to be down and stay down for a FULL 24 hours before the XBox One would have be affected.

Therefore your internet going down is not a problem, even if it goes up and down dozens of times each day. The problem is if your internet goes down and stays down for 24 hours, that's when you would have been affected.

Be honest now, how often is your internet down completely for more than a day? And if that happens, is gaming really your priority to get it back? :)

Netflix, I guess that's down to personal opinion.

Swapping game discs, yes you'd be affected with the physical discs, but I think we would have needed to see how the family sharing worked before claiming it's 'convulted as ****'.

The Kinect spying claims are just nonsense (and I believe you know that :)). Anyone concerned about being spied upon should also be afraid of the cameras on mobile/cell phones (including the fact that we are tracked via base stations and GPS), the cameras built into laptops and webcams on PCs, the PSEye and Playstation Cameras, cameras on tables/iPads, Smart TVs with cameras etc.

I don't like ads either, but ads will appear on both XBox One and PS4, but we'll have to wait until the consoles are launched before we know how intrusive they are.

I respect your opinions, but I do feel the reality doesn't match the claims, which is a pattern I've seen time and time again when I've ask gamers to list how they would have been affected by the original XBox One policies.

Anyway, I hope you get well soon my friend :)

@LucentWolf- You say "Don't forget, their system was entirely built around basically fucking their fanbase originally".

I've read that a lot from certain gamers online, but here's a question I'd like you to answer if you can, because very few do - Explain exactly how YOU personally would have been "f***ed" by those original policies, or how you would be "f***ed" if those policies were to reappear in future. Be specific to yourself, no generalizations about the fanbase or other gamers please.

Btw, this is not meant as an attack, I'm just curious about your reasoning :)

@adrunkmunkey14 I haven't been here for ages, so I'm here out of curiosity :) Anyway... I really don't get your comment about DA adrunkmunkey14, since this is what GS says about DA "In a departure from the norm, the PlayStation 3 version looks cleaner because of its higher-resolution textures and the increased depth the textures get from bump mapping. While the Xbox 360 version looks worse, it definitely runs smoother". How is saying the PS3 has higher-resolution textures and bump mapping that the 360 version doesn't and therefore saying the 360 version LOOKS WORSE, a problem for you? The only plus side for the 360 version is that it RUNS smoother than the PS3 version. I've never played this game, but from the reviews and forum comments I read, gamers agree that although neither version has a perfectly smooth framerate, the framerate problems are worse on the PS3 version, and the 360 version looks washed out and has lower res textures in comparison. So overall, GS appear to be spot on.

Wow, this is still going?!?!? Anyway... @rugripper40 who wrote "nah man...the 360 cant handle final fantasy 13...thats a fact..." Actually, for the gameplay graphics, it can. :) Let's stop pretending the PS3 wasn't the lead format with the 360 port playing second fiddle to the PS3 version (in the past its often been the reverse, with the PS3 version suffering). If they spent equal time on the 360 version, it would have been the same res as the PS3 version during gameplay (but of course, not the high res movies). That said, what's done is done, hence it can't be proven one way or another, however, it will be interesting to see if the 360 FFXIII versus rumours turn out to be true, even if the PS3 version is a timed exclusive, and if so, see how they compare. BTW, a game's native resolution is the ideal way to compare them directly. A higher res is a test of how well a console can upscale. Oh and, this is just a fleeting visit but... nice talking to you again. I'll give this more time if Gamespot get around to doing 360 vs PS3 Graphics Comparison Round 6. (waits for 10 thumbs down from same person with multiple accounts. hehehe)

@ rugripper40 who wrote "thats a lame excuse for something being better...still in denial..ps3 rocks and it will for many years to come..." I know the "ps3 rocks". Do tell me which part of the sentence 'I own both 360 and PS3' that you don't understand and I'll try to explain it to you. :-) "all the screenshots above prove ps3 is much better except mw2 which i think is swapped" Keep telling yourself that if it makes you feel better.

@purplebusrider who wrote "1080p(or 1080i?) shows the real difference, i tried playing Oblivion on xbox 360 and it was HORRIBLE quality, i tried on the ps3, it was amazingly great quality, i used HDMI on both." Except Oblivion on the 360 was released in March 2006 and on the PS3 it was release in March 2007, 1 YEAR later. As Peter Hines of Bethesda said at the time, it had nothing to do with power, they were able to use that extra time to improve the game for the PS3, resulting in a slightly better version.
