Yeah, its a waste of money. Netflix is a better deal since there are no ads and you can get blu-ray discs sent to your home as well.

I knew this when I found out Hulu had ad-support... Hulu+ will be a HUGE disappointment until they make it ad-free and use on multiple systems.

Thanks for the $10 worth of information.

I was a HUGE critic of the service... being that it has ad-support... yet you pay 10 bucks per month for it... for us with multiple PS3's you're not in luck... wasted 10 bucks to provide some of you with feedback..

you can only have one active at a time... so IF you want to watch a movie in the livingroom, and later watch one in the bedroom later that day... you're out of luck.. the grace period 24 freaking hours... so the soonest you could view ANYTHING would be the next day.

- Super slow streaming, I've got 20MB/second internet... to stream Family Guy it took 4 1/2 minutes.

- Bad interface

- Sound synching is off

- Multisystem households cannot view it on multiple systems

- 30 minutes of shows provide you with 5 minutes of ads

Many people still play it. Before it didnt take too long to find a match now it takes a little bit longer but it is not too bad. The game is fun though i still enjoy it.

Got it awhile ago... still have not played it..

Dish Network offered to refund 20 dollars or discount my services if I "renewed" them by 2 dollars per month..

I've dealt with more kind terrorist before...

A bunch of damn criminals...

Tell them they must compensate, or that you will sue, seince you have a recording of a call with an operator admitting to have a record of the cancellation. Ask to speak to their managers. If you threaten to sue, they will give it to you. just be firm on the phone. stretch things a little bit. You'd be amazed at what some assertiveness and time can get you on customer services be the dominate male. if you mess up, hangup, call again, and start over.

I will try again tomorrow.. it's just a HUGE slap in the face... however, if things are not in my favor... second best thing I can do is tell people of this... my situation could cost them new customers and more in the long run.

They flat out refused... even knowing it on RECORD I ended my subscription...

Well like I said then, its probably time to talk to a lawyer or something.

$700 is quite alot not to be refunded. If was say $100 or under Id probably just forget about it.

Did you send back the receivers? When you cancel your subscription you need to send the back or they will charge you for them.

Of course...

Hmmm, there was obviously some kinda mistake or goof up somewhere. If you explained it to them and they still refuse the refund the money then, yes, I would consider legal action.

We have DISH Network for like 10 years, but we have never had any such problems.

So last year I move from Madison,WI to a neighboring city... I canceled my Dish Network as we typically used Netflix more..... They've been charging us for Dish Network ever since..... they have on record that it was canceled (and admitted it) yet... they wont refund over $700 that was stolen from my bank account since 2009... Anyone else see this as pathetic, wrong and a problem. Should I seek legal help... or just suck it up?
