In response to the topic, 2D games can't really evolve into "better" 2D graphics in the sense that 3D can. But does it really need to? If it has gorgeous art, upscaled into HD then I can't see how it can or why it needs to be any better. 2D games with great art will still look great years from now. How can they improve any more?

I am not trying to be rude but how come Amanda gets all the attention when there is people before committed suicide and they dont even have a choice on the reason why they are getting bullied.

For instance, A 15 year old Sheniz Erkan killed herself because she got picked on for being Muslim. Another one is Joel Morales who hanged him because he got picked on that his father passed away and also by being called slim/short

So why Amanda Todd is craving all the attention, and these hardly get any notice?

Whenever the media decides to focus on a certain person that died people ALWAYS bring this up. "what about the normal people, what about others who committed suicide, what about the soldiers in Iraq."

Well my answer to that is that the media can not possibly report on every single teen that ever has and will commit suicide. Every single person's name would fade into obscurity due to the sheer number of names that had to be reported. I have no idea why Amanda Todd got attention over all these other kids. Maybe if the cards had fell into a different place, Sheniz would have gotten more attention than her.

No one really knows why some stories get more attention than others on the internet. Asking why Amanda Todd got more attention than other teens that committed suicide is like asking why, out of all the topics discussed in the presidental debate, people chose to focus on "Romney wanting to get rid of Big Bird" and "Binders full of women." Its baffling, and no one really knows why.

So for no real reason I decided to go and look at my past posts when I used to frequent this site called GaiaOnline, during my anime heyday. I haven't logged on in over 5 years, and I used to go on this site a lot when I was between the ages of 11-13. I. LITERALLY. CRINGED. My grammar, my spelling, the way I argued, the fact that all my post were a loud blue color, EVERYTHING was atrocious. I know I was a middle schooler and just discovering the internet but MAN those were dark days. I'll share a few of the things I wrote just for laughs:

Oh shut yer yappin! Some dubs *coughcoughkarincoughcough* are bad but many are good. Like haruhi, FMA, negima,naruto, and bleach. plus w/o dubs my little sis wouldn't be able to watch anime and that would be horrible."

This is not the worst out there but the manga never seems to go anywhere. The anime has horrible voice acting and gave me a headache. The art is so so but some shots look very ugly. It also has some very annoying characters that make you want to shoot them in the head. I'm not saying it's the worst but I really don't like it.

Ew. It's way too long and gets incredibly predictable later on. Kagome is the most annoying heroine ever. Akane was soo much better. Some annnoying themes are reccuring and it's always Kagome gets kidnapped blah blah blah random BS. Horrible. Rumiko Takahashi did a wonderful job on Ranma so what happened

I can't afford it so why shouldn't I steal it

Last one is the most cringeworthy, where I tried to justify piracy with probaby the dumbest reason ever. Can't believe I actually typed those words. I guess the only good thing about looking back at your past stupidity as a kid is that you can see how much you grew up and how much better you've gotten. I still have a lot of growing to do but GOD, at least now I can do better than this (and I no longer support piracy).

So share your stuff, what kind of stuff did you think or post when you were younger that makes you cringe now?

I'm always amazed at how much butthurt these kinds of list conjure up. I don't agree with the list (most of my most beloved games are missing) but whatever, its just one guys opinion.

I'm a little confused as to why portal outranked portal 2 though. Isn't 2 better in every way?

seriously, I do think PC gaming is infinitely better in every single respect (except for split-screen coop, you got us there), but I don't think we are better people than console gamers. At the end of the day, we just all want to have fun :)

I hardly play any shooters (I only own 2) but Spec Ops the Line managed to catch my interest. Its definetly a game I'll pick up some time soon, I'm all for games with mature storytelling that do something different.

But if unity happened then I couldn't lurk in system wars anymore, laughing at how people will argue for pages and pages about how their $300 piece of plastic is better than someone else's $300 piece of plastic. And thats not fun:(

Stopped using Firefox and switched to Chrome. Firefox crashed way too much for me. Chrome crashes occassionally but not nearly as much.
