I'd say the Silent Hill games were creepier.

If you got the money then go for it. You could just get the 360 Arcade which will have the HDMI port.

GAH! My Xbox 360 Elite is just under 3 months old and I got a crappy problem with it already. I got a problem where I put any disc in the disc tray whether it be a game, dvd movie or music cd the dashboard will say "reading" for about 10 seconds or so then says "open tray" as if its not recognising what's inside is a disc. My xbox 360 elite was bought in September 2007 that means its only been less than 3 months and its already got this problem. Called Miscrosoft and they recommended I turn the console off, remove the hard drive, turn it back on and try a disc. It didn't work suffice to say. Microsoft say it'll take up to 20 days to get this repaired and returned to me. tsk tsk. Though I think I may have caused this problem by playing it 9 hours straight and have therefore burnt the lens in the drive. What can I say, Mass Effect is a very good game but there is an incredible amount of loading throughout the entire game that is quite taxing for the drive I imagine.

I was going to get a Wii at Christmas but because I didn't preorder I couldn't get one, I mainly wanted to play Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess but I got it for the Gamecube instead. Reading about the psuedo swordplay of Red Steel didn't tempt me either so I've staved off it until some games come out that I thought are worthwhile. Its now March and 4 of the 10 games in Gamespots top 10 games for the Wii are Virtual Console games. I know Nintendo have some really great things lined up for the rest of this year but doesn't the gap between now and last Christmas dissapoint?

It will look bad or good depending on the picture processing inside the TV. You really need to check out what a 480p picture looks like stretched over that 1080x1920pixel screen first though I'm not sure if stores will let you connect your Wii up to their TV's, though they might if they think it'll gurantee them a sale. and of course the size of the screen and your veiwing distance away from it will play a factor too. I'm at the moment looking for some hardware + software that will let me input a HD single in to my computer (480p / 720p / 1080i/) then use the power of my computer to upscale it and output it to my HDTV in 1080p format. reason for this the pocessor in my computer will be far superiour than any chip built in to any HDTV so the picture will look that much better. but so far that kind of equipment is pretty expensive so i'll have to wait a while

Guess we'll see how wrong the review is when we get to play it for ourselves.

I think they are likely going to see how popular the Wii gets so they can estimate how many servers they'll need to set up to meet demands. Kind of like the DS I suppose.

Woo. Lots of speculation and opinions before we even know how it's going to really turn out.
