Thankyou for all your help people. looks like the g6-1220sa is the way to go, though I am going to do a bit more research to see if I can find a better one within my budget. feel free to tell me if you know of one.
up to 550 pounds. if you know anything for sale better than the laptops i mentioned, please point me in the right direction. thanks in advance. also whats the most graphically intense game the bottom one would run at a smooth framerate.
I have been searching for a laptop to purchase, and have narrowed it down to two. I can only buy one and I want the one that is better for gaming. Can someone please point me in the right direction? here are the two laptops specs.
Well i've run word of warcraft smoothly on my system. but it does look like my specs olny just meet the minimum specs for minecraft. getting a new laptop fairly soon so will try and get Nvida or Amd if i can. any laptops recommendations for gaming (under 400 pounds) laptops would be welcome.
So I recently installed minecraft onto my laptop after recieving it as a gift from a friend. but I get an error stating " bad video drivers!: failed to find an accelerated open gl mode" my graphics card is SiS mirage 3 graphics, and i think im running driiver version R529. my question is this: is there a driver for my graphis card which can run it? and if there is no way the card can support the game, is there a way to run minecraft through direct x and not open gl?
No joy allocating it to one core either, same laggy gameplay littered with graphical blemishes. Im going to try different graphic driver versions I find, though if anyone thinks they know whats wrong please help me.
