The beta is awesome, and the graphics are certainly an improvement over Halo 2.

Yeah, 300 pwns. There should be an Achievement simply for watching one of the trailers over and over again. We'd all have that!

Well, pretty much every console has bugs at launch, most likely even your precious PS3. It's just the way it goes, if you want to avoid this you'll want to wait until the second or third wave of consoles.

Rahl, it actually isn't as likely as you might think that some of those 360 games will be ported to the 360. Obviously Halo 3 won't, and Mass Effect is being developed by Bioware, a company which has only released its major games on Xbox and PC. Gears of War is supposedly going to be the killer app for the 360, in which case it would probably remain an exclusive. But the PS3 will definitely have some stellar titles as well, like Resistance: Fall of Man, and maybe even Warhawk, in addition to MGS4 and so forth.

Actually, a lot of the PS3's technology is overrated. I personally have a 360 and I don't regret it, though I can see why someone might if they had gotten a defective model. Honestly, if you really want a PS3, you'll get one. If you don't, you'll tell people who do that they're ****ing stupid. The world keeps moving, and in November, it won't matter.

Sainraja, you compare the PS2 to the Xbox 360. Remember how the PS2 was the leader during this now-dying console generation?

It never makes sense that the most expensive shipments (namely those near launch) are the most problematic as the system will get, and yet people try to defend it by saying, "It's new". I don't care, I can wait a year, I'll have my Wii and 360 to tide me over until holiday 2007.

Yes, PS3 is free online, but that doesn't ensure quality. Does anybody remember the horrid PS2 online setup? And if the basic online playi s free, they will have to attack the consumer with fees for all additional content. And actually, it would take four years to accumulate the $200 in extra cost, 6 years if the price is lowered before the PS3's launch, which is likely.

"I wish everyone would stop saying the ps3 will fail. Its not. Its the better machine and it will most likely come out on top. And dont say its too expensive,a fully upgraded 360 will probably end up being $600, with the HD-DVD attachment, HDMI port, and a 60GB hard Drive if they come out with one or already have(i dont know). So what are you gonna spend $600 on? A 360 with old and dated technology? Or a PS3 with newest and most advanced technology?" END QUOTE I'm sorry, did you say that the Xbox 360 is "old and dated technology"? Are you freakin' serious? I agree that the PS3 is more powerful, yes, due in part to the fact that it is coming out a year later, but the Xbox 360 is by no means what you think. Have you seen one in action on an HDTV? And as for the debate about how the Xbox 360's HDDVD attachment will add to the $400 and come out to around the price of the PS3: you'll realize this is not a necessary amount of extra money, whereas with the PS3 you have no choice but to pay $600 unless you want the comparatively useless $500 Core System. And don't forget, third party 360 games cost $60, while it is likely that every PS3 game, including first party titles, will cost at least $60, some specualations even see it reaching over $80, maybe even 100 (though this seems unlikely).
