Dude... wtf? Konami just announced the next metal gear game, Metal Gear Survive. It looks like a co-op zombie game.
Edit: Okay, so it IS a co-o zombie game of sorts. However, it will apparently have stealth gameplay, will possibly have a single player mode, will be a companion piece to TPP like GZ was, takes place in an alternate timeline (as not to interfere with canon), and will cost less than $60. Plus, there's bows.
I'm cool with this.
The biggest thing I'd be worried about it how well it plays online. Konami's netcode has always been bad. I used to play MGO (2) and just couldn't get into the last iteration because what did change got worse.
Man, I'm still listening to Suicide Squad's OST. That shit bangs... The movie was just ok but this is probably my favorite movie OST in forever. It actually has original modern music instead of just all licensed music (though weirdly the movie is all licensed shit every five minutes) and new classical type stuff.
I just wasn't impressed as to how it was implemented throughout the film. It didn't accompany the scene, but felt more like it wanted to be its own thing. Might just be how I love how movies like Guardians of the Galaxy do music; makes me feel warm inside when its directly linked to the film.
I really though the close third person perspective was really weird. I liked it more in For Honor because it seemed like the character had more weight behind their swings. Really depends how Kratos interacts with swarms of minions to make me decide if I like it ~ story-wise I don't care too much.
I think the Nitro will only come as 8GB. I would prefer 4GB since I only ever plan to use this rig for 1080p. Rumour has it that the Toxic line up is coming back in a few months.
Looks like the 580 is a sidegrade to the 390, minimal upgrade from 290. I don't mind paying $100 for support and a 2 year warranty, I'm just going to wait for AIBs incase theres problems with the reference. Apparantly the PCIe power draw is above regulation or there was a problem with review copies because they had unique BIOSs to switch between 4GB and 8GB. Looking towards a Saphire card, probably go binned (Nitro) since the process is new and varies a lot.
EDIT: More coming in that it matches a 390X in most games with a slight overclock.
