Ehhh PoE has an annoying lack of talent resets so I think TL2 is still the best modern ARPG. It's too bad it doesn't have a real online community or any currency so there's no end game.

I just can't get into it for some reason. I don't know anyone that plays it other than one friend who only plays it with 4 other people and I'm not in on that group. Solo Q is unbearable ;( i'll just stick to League where I know people Q_Q.

Bought TR:Anniversary...already played the TR reboot and loved it but didn't buy it. Almost tempted to just because I enjoyed it a lot. Is Chivalry really worth getting though? I remember when it was released people were saying it was fairly bad, just curious what the general consensus is (I'd like more than just one opinion).

I'm not sure I understand the people that say the designs are shit since gold or RBY or whatever. If you remove the fact that they're new and compare it to older games, most of the designs are visually more pleasing.....they have a better mix of small and large shapes is the biggest thing IMO. I've learned people will complain just to complain even if there's nothing wrong.

If anything, the designs were too simplistic in the original pokemon. A mix of small shapes with larger shapes really brings out the character in a better way IMO.

It feels really sluggish compared to League, I don't know how to explain it. It's because it has WC3 mechanics I guess like the turn rate and stuff. It's no doubt a good game, and has more depth than League will ever have, but I i just can'tttttttttttt get into it. It feels sloow :(.

[QUOTE="br0kenrabbit"]

[QUOTE="princeofshapeir"]Guild Wars 1 had the best PvP of any online RPG I've played. GW2 is a serious step down. They focused on PvE and let the PvP experience suffer. princeofshapeir

The problem with GW1 was although you had a vast number of options for builds, if you didn't have the flavor of the month you weren't getting a party.

I'll take WvWvW over anything GW1 has to offer any day, and I'm a huge GW1 fan who still plays (going for the Black Moa for the HoM so I can finally get my 'Rift Warden' GW2 title).

And ArenaNet's solution for GW2 was to streamline all the classes so they effectively function the same; compared the original there is very little customization. They haven't even added new gametypes to SPvP besides the Domination mode that was available at launch. ArenaNet says they still want to push e-sports for GW2, which is completely laughable; GW1 was the one MMO I thought could hold its own as an e-sports contender if ArenaNet really wanted to support it, but GW2 just doesn't have the level of depth that the original had.

100% agree. The game should be sooo much more than it is. It's a fun game but it needs way more variety...
