rubber-banding in racing games is annoying, but I dont think its a dealbreaker. (mind you, I havent played the game so not sure how bad it really is). Arcade racing games from yester-year all had it, but usually done a bit more subtle. GTA5's racing missions have really obvious rubber-banding, so its still used in modern games.
But for me, always online and no manual gearbox... pass.
not sure if patches have changed much since this review, but im really enjoying Gauntlet. Colosseum mode helps to test your mettle when campaign is a bit overplayed. (because it is short)
Almost any game can have ridiculous amounts of strategy. This is basically a 2D scroller with a rock-paper-scissor formula and responsive gameplay. You could try and master this game, but I dont find it very rewarding after a couple of hours
