WiiU time aka my once a year blog post

Hello friends, long time no see. First blog post in... more than a year or so? Pretty crazy. Anyway, I won't bore you. This is just a quick one.

Picked up a WiiU on Sunday. Has it's problems, sure, but I'm having a good time with it. If you happened to get one too, feel free to add me (ID: LegendofNerd). Controller is nice, and Miiverse has some cool twitter-like stuff. And yeah, I do do some doodling on Miiverse from time to time (for example). Pretty nifty stuff there.

But anyway, that's about it from me. Hope you guys have a good turkey day!

SWM January 2011 issue posted: The Grand Finale!

Long time no see folks. One of these days I'll actually use this blog for something awesome, but for now, updates are the flavor of the day. Updates such as the last issue of System Wars Monthly! THAT'S RIGHT! The last issue. But wipe your tears away, it's not the end. Oh no, it's merely a new beginning. After this issue, we're moving on to a entirely new format. Bi-weekly threads updating with the latest SW updates, plus new discussions, and quarterly issues to boot. So keep your eyes on System Wars for future updates, but for now, bask in the mighty glory of the SWM finale!

New SWM Issue and more!

Hello friends, it's been awhile. But forget about the long silence between us, for I have come bearing gifts. First of all, the System Wars Monthly issue is up and running for your viewing pleasure. And I made a couple of videos for this month too. Just for you. Yes, you. So go on and read it, I'll wait for you to get back.

Now filled with 10% more heartwarming goodness on every page!

And if you think this issue was dandy, next month's issue is our third anniversary, and it's shaping up to be our greatest issue yet. Don't miss it! And if you do, you'll have nothing to talk about when you're standing around the water cooler with your coworkers. And that'll be awkward.

Also, I've been messing around in the Halo: Reach Forge World a little bit, and I've put together a map for you guys and gals to try out. The name is "Tall, Tall Tower" (all the cool one-name levels were already taken).

Currently supports Slayer, King of the Hill, Capture the Flag, and Infection. 2 - 8 people work best. Also comes with free cake (not really). So go download it already. I won't tell anyone.

And that'll about do it from me. Will try to post a blog more often, but you know how that goes. Life and all. Until next time, friends.

Ready your reading eyeballs, July/August Issue of SWM is here

(Click the fancy cover to hop to the offical thread. You know you want to)

After taking a little break, SWM returns with a (insert favorite explosion sound effect here)! This issue is a July/August combo, so there's a lot of content this issue; articles pressed, cleaned, polished, and luggage-checked for your reading enjoyment. So pick yourself up off the the side of the road, with your elevator bones and your whip-flash tones, because this month's SWM is where it's at.

You know, I really should update my blog more often

Yeah, sorry about that. It's been a while. Hey, you look a bit different. Did you get a new haircut? Looking pretty stylin', friend.

Anyway, I'm going to try to update things at least once a month, maybe twice if I'm feeling sassy. Am I feeling sassy this month? Maybe. Kinda hard to tell right now. Maybe some all-American patriotic pyromania will jazz things up a bit.

Speaking of which, what are you guys doing for the fourth of July? Spending time with the parents? Planning a trip? Doing nothing (but in a patriotic way, of course)? Tell me in the comments below, because my inquiring mind wants to know. Besides, we hardly ever talk anymore, you and I. Gotta reestablish some lost social links here :P

Late to the party part 2: SWM 2.0 March issue is out!

Either we've got to get the issue released eariler, or I need to switch up my work hours, because I once again missed the unveiling of the brand new issue of SWM 2.0. But it's not too late for you, lucky reader! A world of internet magic awaits through this wormhole.

Also new this month, utilizing the latest advancements in technology and witchcraft, the issue is fully downloadable for your viewing pleasure. So go forth and download, weary traveller. It's what your Grandma would want.

Happy Valentines Day!

I've never been a huge fan of this holiday, but whatever. Don't let my sour grapes ruin today for you.

If you guys need me, I'll be at the pub.

SWM 2.0: January Issue drops today! Available at an Internet near you!

After weeks of (relatively) hard work, the newly revamped System Wars Monthly is back and better than ever. We feature a fancy new cast, along with some old favorites, to bring you all the news of the day (or in this case, month).

Reviews! Editorials! Comics! Spelling errors! Tapdancing! Some or none of these things appear in what is sure to be our biggest issue ever! Are you foaming at the mouth yet? Well, grab a bib or something! Exclamation points!

So proceed with caution, dear reader. Grab your computer, cozy up next to the fire, and ready your cup of hot cocoa, your reading adventure awaits through this link. Now sticked for your viewing pleasure.

Almost moved in!

Title says it all. Finally got internet up and running for the time being, so I hope to be a little more active now. Still have plenty to clean up, but I'm more or less settled in. My new roommate brought his PS3 and HDTV, so him and I will be gaming well into the new year.

And speaking of which, I bring my heartfelt holiday wishes to you. Yes, you! Who else would I be talking to? Hopefully Santa looked beyond all the terrible stuff you've done this year and filled your Christmas socks with games galore. Just lay off the fruitcake, ok?
