its a brand new game, twisted metal, straight out of Bestbuy... the other one is a preowned but it was working fine then it didnt read it... now its going crazy, it reads it when it wants to... bummer

Why don't you try updating the firmware then. Make sure your ethernet cable is attached to your PS3 and go into SETTINGS > SYSTEM UPDATE > Press X >Select UPDATE VIA INTERNET >Press X.
If your issue is a known issue, Sony usually issues a patch via system update to fix it.

It did read it yesterday, I was playin fine, the day before yesterday too... Today I tried to play it and it did not read it... can it still be the update?? or even the blu ray lense?

no i havent tried to update it.... the weird thing is that yesterday it did work, i was able to play twisted metal,... would you know why? that happened to me a few weeks ago too,... at first i was playing dantes inferno then after a few days it didnt read it and that same day it read it again now it doesnt want to read it no more... weird...
First of all, thank you very much for taking the time on answering. I haven't tried any blurays because other games do work. Can it still be the laser??
This is my second post in a long time and i need help. My Playstation 3 doesn't want to read some games now. I just got Twisted Metal and it's not reading it. But that's not the only one, I've been playing Dante's Inferno fine and now it does not want to read it anymore. I tried it with Cabela's Hunting Game and it did read it. I put on DVD movies and it does read it. It is just with certain games. Anyone knows why or knows how to fix it, please help. I would appreciated. Thank You all very much for reading.
