Red Dead Redemption and Battlefield Bad Company 2 are 2 excellent games that I enjoy to play on a regular basis. But the addition of "co-op against AI" modes , in my opinion, isn't a bad idea. In Outlaws to the End -- RDR's co-op mode -- there's 6 missions you can play in that, with up to 3 friends, ranging from raiding a gold mine to rescuing a damsel in distress. All in all, its very fun and adds more hours to your playtime for Red Dead Redemption. Plus its free! Its practically a steal.
Battlefield Bad Company 2's Onsluaght is similar to Outlaws to the End in that you can play with 3 other friends (or you can play by yourself if you want). However, you can adjust the difficultyfor the AI (easy, medium, hard and hardcore). Its very, very fun and can do 2 things for ya: 1. If your not a team player, it'll teach you to be a team player because you truly have to work together to win and 2. If your struggling in competitive online play, you go up against waves of AI enemies which is easier than taking on real people. Only drawback is that to get it, you have to pay 800 Microsoft Points, which sucks =(. But its worth it.
Also I wanted to comment on COD MOD 2's multiplayer. While its still fairly enjoyable, I've recently been losing interest and honestly the experience seems to be in a bit of a downfall. Why? Well for some reason in nearly every match I play in hardcore, the matches are full of campers, which annoys the s**t out of me. I can't honestly understand how it can fun to just sit in a corner the entire match and wait for someone to run past you just so you can kill them. It degrades the multiplayer and makes it no fun to play. Also, I've been playing with alot of modded players recently, which doesn't make the game fun at all. While I prefer ground war over hardcore, none of my friends ever want to play it, and I really hate to play by myself. Plus the ACR is too "perfect" a gun: unlike in BC2, where every gun has its pros and cons, the ACr is practically perfect. And the funny thing is, I've never used that gun. All in all, I hope Infinity Ward or Activision does something about this growing problem before the multiplayer becomes practically unenjoyable to play. Bad Company 2 is more my cup of tea lol
Also has anyone tried out the Medal of Honor beta multiplayer? I've watched the trailers and gameplay videos, and it looks badass, but I don't feel like pre-ordering until I know the beta is good or bad. If anyone has tried it, please let me know.
