So for you guys who think Blizzard is still in it to make games fun and for us consumers, You are wrong!

They only make games so they can make more money, every game since wc3 they have milked in every way they can.
They have even taken away modding cause some guy made alot of money using modding in WC3 making Dota and they don't want that. They want the money for themselves that's why we have real money AH in Diablo 3 now

One hundred and ten percent agreed. Blizzard was one of the gaming companies I could always rely on. They even occasionally provided some game content for free, even though they didn't have too. Now they add 5 levels in WoW and charge you 40 bucks >.> They use to support their gaming community. Now since they paired up with Activision its all about money. Just like CoD milks its fanbase, they milk us. They ruined WoW, they ruined Diablo 3. They will more than likely ruin Starcraft with Heart of the Swarm. D3 was a mediocre game with the Blizzard logo. Now we have to make games for the common *** monkey to play, no more support for hardcore gamers in modern games. We have to have huge glowing trails and huge waypoints because people cant read a quest and follow directions.

[QUOTE="Kudendar007"]No I wouldn't think of the game as a flop. A flop would be considered a game that was a money pit for the company with very little revenue in return. Sentinel112
You already have the mindset of a j*den. You are a beautiful example being an obvious product of this j*denage.

Im assuming you didn't read all of my post...

No I wouldn't think of the game as a flop. A flop would be considered a game that was a money pit for the company with very little revenue in return. However, this game doesn't even compare to the other Diablo games. I agree with what the original poster was trying to get at, this game isn't that great. I was a fanboy for Diablo games, I played D2 for around 3 years. D1 for around 6 months. Needless to say I loved them. If you need to say this game is absolutely great you probably never played the original Diablo games or you need justification for spending 60 bucks. The DRM is repulsive. They *could* have included a separate offline version for the game that would not interfere with multiplayer aspects. They basically got away with making a 60 dollar game with no single player, and forces you to eventually use their auction house. Which gives you 3 or 4 transaction fees when you use it. I can feel Activisions hand in all of this sadly. Considering that Diablo was all about customization (more notable in Diablo 2) it felt like D3 had nothing. Gems are basic, only around 5 skills per slot. There was far more customization in D2 than D3 period, which is sad. Runes was a cool concept but fundamentally it made the game overly simplistic. You automatically know whats good and whats not without much trial and error, for an action based RPG D3 is far too linear. As any Diablo fan should know the original designers of Diablo 1 and 2 moved to torchlight instead. This game is what it is, a generic RPG with the Blizzard logo on it. Sales doesn't determine good quality, and in today's world sales determines advertising, not good gameplay.
