You should go to gamefaqs.com. More active there. I don't have a char near that SM range. Got a 3.3k and a 4.4M I'm playing.

After Undead Burg and Parish the next place is The Depths. Down the steps by the Capra Demon fog gate. Then Blight Town. You'll get the key from the boss there. The gate is there.
I play every now and then. Last time I play a bit I had one summon at Iron Golem. I kept seeing summon signs there, one at a time, but they were bugged I think. I don't remember what the message said when I summoned, but I tried the same ones over and over and they always failed. I beat Four Kings with someone also. That's all. The time before that there was action in Darkroot Garden. I summoned one guy and we killed four or five other players before I banished him. I put mine down a waited there for a while but never got one. No pvp either. It does seem fairly active. I'm SL 81 still at Four Kings if anyone wants to co-op. PSN: HazingGlare, let me know if you get around that point in the game. I might play it some. Probably only if I can get summons.
I have a char I still haven't went to NG+ with. My first char actually and I have another at Flexile boss. SM is 4.4 mil. How far are you? PSN: HazingGlare
I never use it. Completely forgot about it.
For a game that pits you against death so much what's wrong when it goes against the ones adding to it? Really from a balance stand point is it OK? I hadn't thought of it. Sort of a chance thing and I guess you don't really die by chance any...
I've been invaded by 2 people at once also. The second guy backed off and I lost against the first.
Am I wrong? I think I tried a long time ago and didn't stand a chance. I didn't mean end game content if that's what you mean. I mean he's hard like that. When you're that far go fight him.
I haven't pvp'ed a whole lot. I've lost every time I went to the Blue Cathedral0. For the others it's just been win some lost some. I've only had a sorcerer so far and rolling is the only thing I can comment on. I guess it's not right because if you wanna be ready for pvp you have to keep homing soul arrow/great to win. I have had people just roll out of the way of every spell I'd cast. But really, what can be done about just being able to move? The only viable thing I guess is maybe speeding up spell speed. Not casting, projectile. Maybe a ring that would do it. Or if casting then maybe that does need to be tweaked. The only other things I can think of is adding a dodge chance but that's really changing the game. Like in Diablo you can sit there a magically dodge things and miss things right beside you. Or if soul arrow spells had splash damage that would be in a random direction. But relying on something random isn't being skillful. The sorcerer needs something unpredictable. Haven't tried any hexes. I think I can get the lowest one, poison I think, if I find 1 more of those spices.
And there is soul vortex. Dunno how this aoe will do in pvp. The way it looks I guess someone might panic and then you get them with a soul arrow.
@Gankstar_VX84 You know lifegems drop like candy in multiplayer? I think the animation is OK. The life gems and estus flask are different and opposite. I haven't had tons of trouble defeating a boss because of it. If I want the quicker one I'll use the life gem. If I want my health to fill up quicker I'll use the flask.
@B3GV5M63 You say you killed Havel at 25 hours? That's not right. 25 hours isn't that far into the game. Havel is an end game opponent.
I only played through DS1 once. After a long hiatus I took I can't say I remember much about the difficulty. Killed Seethe and didn't play it for forever. I got DS2 on launch and I've been enjoying it a lot more than DS1. I never could stand Sen's Fortress and Anor Londo. Wasn't the bosses but getting to them. To me DS2 seems streamlined. I guess it was Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura who did this. I've just gotten to Drangleic Castle. It seems a bit easier and there are more bonfires, but I think they wanted the bonfires to be more convenient. At least I think they are. I have over 100 deaths. I've taken a couple short hiatuses since. One when I got to Flexile sentry sort of dreading the fight, but dang he was easy. Another just because I played it so much. Went from Flexile to getting to Royal Rat Authority, Prowling Magus, and Lost Sinner. That was a lot of play time in the amount of time I did it. This game better than DS1 to me.
That's what was "suggested" in the video today.
