I'm excited. Everyone has been asking for a change of pace...well, here it is. Yes it will play similarly, it IS a CoD game after all, but there's so much that can be done creatively here that couldn't be done in a cold war setting.
This is what you get for bashing MW3's lack of innovation. Every other game now gets that same scrutiny. It isn't nice when it goes the other way, is it?

Gears MP got improved a lot IMO.
More than MW3? Last I checked one new game mode was added and some new weapons. Other than that it is identical (but do correct me here because I feel like I could easily be missing something).
By now I've learned that the Call of Duty series is the "exception to the rule" when it comes to reiterations of games. Pokemon is perhaps the only other series that I can name that gets bad reviews because it is a repeat again, and again, and again.
