I saw IGN video about Perfectionist difficulty, one little fire burst after detection and you're dead. It still has health regeneration, targeting is very easy, you can customize your suit and upgrade your armor (by the way, it makes you noisy), but by default you die as fast as in Chaos Theory on Expert difficulty.
Obviously you know nothing about Blacklist difficulty levels. Please, watch IGN video about Perfectionist difficulty and read SneakyBastards preview about sound detection on different difficulty levels.
Blacklist devs put lots of efforts in their game to appeal to hardcore fans.
You know, demo probably won't help, because they could screw up any mission in the middle of the game. Although they already said that it's possible to complete the entire singleplayer game as Fisher without killing anybody. It's not that hard when you can shot sticky shocker and throw gas grenades. But they also said that 99% of the game can be played without touching anybody. That's quite something! But I'm a bit skeptical too :)
By the way, here is another quote from Sneaky Bastards preview about Blacklist difficulty levels: "Fisher essentially has six movement speeds: two when crouched, two when standing, and then a free-running-like Active Sprint mode for both crouched and standing... In realistic or perfectionist mode, anything above the crouched, slow walk will create noise."
So even in terms of sound propagation and detection this game will be harder than Conviction.
@analogjunkie24 You made the same mistake as many others pessimistic uninformed fans. This game is so deep, that you shouldn't judge it using only one video!
Blacklist's Perfectionist difficulty doesn't have Mark & Execute feature! And your basic goggles are night vision goggles! Don't use/unlock sonar goggles, if you don't like them. By the way, sonar goggles can't see through walls on Perfectionist difficulty.
