Does anyone have evidence or proof of this? I haven't seen any wii u game look as good as UC 2/3, GOW 3, Killzone, Halo4, Forza, or GeOW 3. If the wii u doesnt show advantages over 8 year old consoles, why buy one?

@MonsieurX: Then again, nintendo's handhelds always had bad hardware but that never mattered. I dont know why nintendo thought a weak last gen pos console would sell.

The 3ds was saved by games and a price drop only. The system itself is horribly cheap and outdated hardware. All of the 3DS's games could be run on the 9 year old psp with little cut in visuals. The Wii U is a complete and utter castastrophe with nothing going for it over last gen consoles. Games sell systems but good hardware also helps. Maybe their next console wont be a joke.

And they're the only ones w/ free online so don't go expecting anything worth $50 a year
