So steam has a damn good deal going on and I just picked it up myself.

I think the sale ends tommorow but if you preorder bioshock infinite on steam for 60 you get a free copy of xcom (and the original bioshock if for some crazy reason you have yet to play it!).

This really means getting both XCOM and Bioshock infinite for 30 bucks a peice which if infiite lives up to half the standard of bioshock is one hell of a good deal!

Just throwing this out there for anyone else you wants to grab a cheap copy of this game.  I just got mine and I have to admit XCOM is even better then I expected it would be.

edit: while I was typing this up the review for bioshock infinite came out and the game looks fantastic according to the review!  woot!

I have a handy custom recharge sation for my wiimotes so no. There's a gold slot on the back of the cover (custom covers that come with the station with extra grips) and the jacket covers them up so they can't charge.

That and the first time my roomate saw them he asked me why I had giant holed condoms sitting on the table.

Wiimote syncing. With multiple controllers, Sometimes they disconnect, sometimes we have to reconnect after each game, sometimes they don't connect at all. maybe I'm doing something dunno but it's a problem.m_machine024

Yep you are. Your not synquing them properly. It could also be really low batterires. Check your manual and make sure your batteries are fresh. There's a 3rd party Nyko charging station I picked out of my local EB that has saved me about 20 bucks in batteries in a month so it's already paid for itself.

If all that fails call nintendo. Hell they will fix your kitchen sink for you if they think it means you will keep buying their new systems.

The ability for developers to make a tacked on wii port of games on other systems. And 3rd party support.

Heck look at Trauma centre and zack and wiki. 3rd party games are coming out for the system that really are quite great. But frankly it's about time we got more of it. The wii's been out for the year and 80& of all the good titles are first party.

CoD4 has a very short single player campain typically around 5 hours. The multiplayer however is IMO much better then Halo's.

Halo has a longer single player campain but it's still fairly short at 6 to 8 hours. The Multiplayer is more twitch happy though so if you get your jollies by having 12 year olds teabagging you with rocket launchers then go for it.

It just comes down to what you prefer.

If it comes down to any FPS on the 360 for a lot of value and great multiplayer I would highly highly recommend the orange box. There's about 25 hours of single player if not more if you play half life 2 and it's episdoes all the way through and Portal is a blast. But if your not into class based FPS then Team fortress 2 may not hold your interest but if you can enjoy a good class based FPS then TF2 will keep you going for hours.

Just my thoughts. Oh and point in case if you get CoD4 make sure when you unlock the granade on death option online to use it. Nothing has got me laughing harder then having an idiot try and teabag me after killing me and having the granade I dropped on death blow his entire lower body to kingdom come.

The Xbox sells games like Halo becuase of the online play and to get people to pay to get the full online experience is bullcrap. They make money off online game sales so they should just suck it up and pay to get a return and my goodness do they get a return in software sales. To charge customers is garbage and it's why I refuse to buy any microsoft game product. Downloadable extras that you have to pay for, paying for maps, paying for demos (which is really the icing on the cake becuase the more people who play a demo the more buy the game. It's all insulting and garbage.

ALL THIS STUFF IS FREE TO PC GAMERS! Why should anyone else have to pay for it. The game developers make money off this stuff regardless and they are already giving it to us up the rear end everytime we pay 60 or 70 dollars for a game!! I mean common brand new ps2 titles at my local eb are commonly 30 bucks and sometimes 20 for players choice games.
