Good to hear the game is actually good, might pick it up after I play Arma III for a while
It definitely is great if you can look past Lara going from total innocence to being Rambo in a couple of hours and the couple of QTE's in the beginning :P
The gameplay has more depth than Uncharted 2&3 and the combat is definitely better. Uncharted 3s combat gameplay never felt satisfying to me, enemies sometimes didn't even react to bullets. TR is much better in this regard.
Btw. how did you get in the Arma 3 alpha? Got an invite or did you pay the 25 bucks?
Is the money you pay for the alpha put towards a discount of the finished game?
the funny thing is, they really talked up how her first kill would be so emotionally impactful and such a big deal, but in the game.... she kills the guy, cries for a second... and then moves on. she even makes the comment "you would be surprised how easy it was" when her friend says "that must have been hard." so much for emotional impact.
