Haha thanks....I heard Bioshock is TOUGH. I personally didn't care for the demo, but I have heard the game is a really challenge.

I recommend it. It's pretty fun...just make sure to capture all HVT's and do mini-games before doing a main mission.

I have yet to recieve a platinum trophy of any kind. They are truly difficult, but once u get it, im sure you feel a great sense of accomplishment. Trying to get platinum for both Burnout and Battlefield: Bad Company. Hope i can get those soon =].

On January 3rd, 2009, I finally earned the Mercenaries 2 Platinum Trophy!

Getting this Platinum was truly frustrating for me. I had to beat the entire game THREE times! I HATED this game when I had to find all the spare parts and landing zones for the THIRD time. At my last time, I only needed to unlock all shop items. The second time I beat the game, I guess I wasn't supposed to do some minor Chinese mission which resulted in me not being able to complete a Universal Petroleum race. Yes, I knew I wasn't supposed to do the "Battle of Caracus" before completing all the mini-games, and I didn't. When trying to get "Digital Man" (all shop items), make sure you finish each mini-game before doing a contract; also make sure you find the spare parts surrounding the Chinese and Allied HQ's.

Yes, you need to find all 100 parts to get 10/11 PMC shop items. The last is the Nuclear Bunker Buster, which is awarded to you once you complete the last mission in the game, shown in this video. On IGN.com, you can find the spare parts map that I used in their Mercenaries 2 game guide. It doesn't take long; just fly to the X, pick up the item and you're on your way. You might not even have to get all 100 because there is a bug in the game where it says you are getting spare parts even while you are flying (my case).

There is also and achievement/trophy called "Aces High", in which you are required to capture all High Valued Targets, AKA HVT's. This one actually isn't too bad. All you need to do is eliminate the enemies surrounding the target, then capture the individual once the coast is clear. Do not subdue your target before eliminating the surrounding enemies, because your HVT will often DIE when you walk to far away or turn your back for more than a few moments. It's some weird bug.

This is my third Platinum trophy; in December I earned the CoD5 Platinum, and the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Platinum in September.
