How many people have to say it before it's accepted as fact? GameSpot's reviews are a joke. Don't believe me? Check my blog.

I played through the first 3 or so hours of Ninja Gaiden (original Xbox) recently on my 360. I turned the game on today, and suddenly I'm getting a non-compatibility message! Seriously. I tried resetting a few times, no luck. Anyone else experienced something like this? C'mon Microsoft, get it together...

RPG classics if they ever came to live arcade. games like chrono trigger, lunar, xenogears, or star ocean 2? cause these are all games that I loved back in the day and would replay in a heartbeat if they ever came to the arcade, even if they were 1600 points.TranRoxas

I'd check out Crono Trigger, just for the stroll down memory lane. 1600 points though? Nah, let's talk about 400 or less.

R6: Vegas, I love that game.white_sox

I think Rainbow's one of the most underrated games on Xbox 360.

Cool. They're notoriously tough, too. We can now expect American sources to begin reviewing the game... with GameSpot being the last, as they always are.

Jbul's right. They only stay open until everything kind of dies down. That's what my gamestop is doing. I work there.destinhpark

Of course I'm right. I'm always right... ;)

i'm as pumped about halo 3 as the next gamer, but i'm also a littleuneasy about it's release for a few reasons.
  1. halo 3 is being released 1 week after my fall classes start. this is a problem since i'm sure i'll be tempted to sleep-in, skip class and play halo 3 until i have to go to work.
  2. i still have the memory of waiting almost 2 hours in line for halo 2 when i went to the midnight release party. it sucked for the following reasons: the people in line were all anti-social dicks, the non-preorder line was moving faster than the preorder, andit was 40 degrees F outside that night.
  3. i was planning on picking up my pre-order when gamestop opens during their normal hours on the 25th but the shop owner thinks that day is gonna be crappier than the midnight launch because of all the non-preorder people trying to get their copy.

i don't know, part of me wants to go to wal-mart or something at midnight to see if i can get a copy and just forget eb games and gamestop. i think i'll just drive to see which store has the shortest line and buy it there.herbie12282

I felt like a dick waiting in line for Halo 2. There's no way I'm going through that again. I'll wait 'til about 3pm on the 25th, 'til all the fanatics and nerds have cleared out, and swoop in and pick up my copy, hassle-free.

Ha ha ha. Seems like everyone hates GameSpot's reviews. Hey GameSpot staff, are you listening yet?

Hey. I have a questions aimed at people who work at Gamestop. We all know that many Gamestops are opening at midnight on the 25th but how long are you staying open. Are you staying open till regular closing hours or are you closing up shop after a while and then opening later on in the morning?

Thanks.

Spyderfan1212

They won't stay open all night. Probably close around 2 or 3, depending on how many people they're dealing with, and re-open with the regular crew at normal hours.
