That would be so cool to see Jeff show up at Revision3 and do a gaming only show. Perhaps a live gaming show where they show games and take questions from the viewers on Thursdays. Rev3 just finished up their new studio after all.XSamFisherX
Well I haven't really heard of Revision3 before this. But it looks like an interesting idea though. There are a lot of former TechTV people at it. Right now they don't have a good gaming show, but if they create one then Jeff would be perfect for it. On one hand, he might not want to join such a small company like that. But on the other hand, he might see it as an opportunity to help start something new. After all, he has played an important role in building GameSpot over the years. I think the simple fact that Revision3 got him to do a short segment so soon after leaving GameSpot shows that the idea has crossed their minds.

Hey, check out the latest episode of Tekzilla. About half way through they were talking to Jeff Gerstmann, and he mentioned a little bit about leaving GameSpot: http://revision3.com/tekzilla/gerstmann You know, while he was talking some about Rock Band and Guitar Hero 3, it sounded just like he was giving a GameSpot review. Though he mentioned very little about GameSpot, this interview on Tekzilla really clarified to me just how serious of an error has been made here. GameSpot will never be the same without Jeff. Period. In the coming weeks or months, I will be interested in seeing which company Jeff joins on with. He needs to go somewhere where he can still do a gaming show. He's really good at that.

Heh heh... Now the comment box has been removed. I wonder who will be assigned the task of going through and censoring the existing comments? But hell, that wouldn't leave anything left.

Yes, apparently only mods can comment in that news article right now. I guess they were worried the article would look suspicious if it spread 100 pages. A bogus news release with limited comments... It's unbelievable just how stupid they think we are. They keep hurting themselves more every day with actions like this. They have blown all of trust we had in them, and they will always be surrounded by a cloud of suspicion until the real story comes out. GameSpot has some great editors that I like, but sadly they can't be trusted either as long as they keep working here. :(

Every time I try to add my comment in the Gerstmann news article, it just sits there and doesn't post. It seems like the comments on it have stopped, and the last few comments came from mods. I wonder, have they disabled normal members from being able to comment in it? The article was blatant spin anyway. I sit in awe at just how far they would go to try and keep this story contained, and just how stupid they think we are. They have hurt themselves badly with this, and each day they continue to hurt themselves even more. I'm sorry GameSpot, but no matter what CNET policy is, GameSpot will always be surrounded by a cloud of suspicion until the real story comes out. The same goes for the existing editors, also. I'm sorry guys, but as much as I like you all, none of you can be trusted as long as you're working here either.

Yep, all of this keeping quiet about it and locking topics is not helping them at all. In fact, it's hurting them even more. If they wanted to try to reduce the damage, they should come forward and be honest with their members about what's going on here.

Nope. Call of Doodie 4 doesn't touch Crysis. I'll give it credit though; at least they have gotten past WWII. I swear, we have entirely too many WWII games.

I bought my Wii in early December, and I spent about two weeks playing Zelda (it was great, but not an OoT). After that, I messed with Virtual Console for a little bit before coming to the conclusion that it was a complete waste of money. I stopped actually "playing" my Wii sometime around late January, and these days I only turn it once in a while to vote in the silly polls. There aren't any other games that interest me, and I don't really see any upcoming games that I care about either.
