The "science" is precisely why I find the game so immersive. The "science" is precisely why it's a completely different game than what Star Citizen is going to be, and why they will be able to succeed uniquely independent of one another.

@linthes999 He really always kinda looked like Nathan Fillion. That's why the internet burst aflame with rage when Mark Wahlberg was originally given the part for the film. What's its status? Hopefully rethinking its cast, and hopefully not with this no namer "Nicolett Scarletta" dude I can find little to nothing about.

@DMND What do you expect when their palette of dyes includes every pastel color in existence?

"Reason for wearing what she's wearing?" Apart from the fact she's captured and clearly tortured in one scene of the E3 trailer, I'm going to presume she escapes with but only the clothes on her back. If that happens to be a torn shirt made into a makeshift bra and her seared stockings, then so be it. Between people's failure (like David Ellis, a cockbag with no sense of imagination) to make any sort of connection in trailers to logic, and the media's inclination to twist words and ideas, I'm thinking people are back to the practice of assuming things before they've even played a game, much less watch a trailer. Between her killer body and ability to endure sufferance and still wield a sniper rifle like a badass, THAT makes her highly "SEXY." So, thank you, Mr. Kojima, for yet another awesome female character in the series.

@keech Ironic that it took a game with such a tarnished history to achieve it.

The HD remix looks pretty sharp, but I was never really all that impressed with FFX's story or its characters. There just wasn't anything palpable about the story to me, and the combat system felt a little dated. The more open world feel of FFXII is what I preferred, which is why I didn't care much for the "Step-back" FFXIII took.

@failssss I agree, suffice it to say, and I'm a Mass Effect fan also disenchanted with the DLC-fetish that seems to have become the industry standard these days. So what did I do? I stopped buying games that even mention DLC. I looked at the games I already had, valued their replayability, and continued to play them. I have a few f2P titles I enjoy online, and play them, without ever paying a cent unless the pricetag is worthy of the gain purchased (which isn't often, sadly). At the end of the day, it keeps my conscience clear, and the stitching of my wallet intact.

So let me get this straight: Jonathan Toyad, while lauding the improvements of FFXIV, languishes at the fact that it is derivative of other derivative games? How original. "It's better than the original release. If you're a Final Fantasy fan that likes MMORPGs, play it." The end.

@EL_Bomberdor Random, or maybe he actually has his own opinion, rather than one written on the back of his paycheck.
