A website for no one older than 16, the intelligence of the average person is terrible, let's not forget all the ignorance and arrogance. I feel like the majority of you are angsty teens who are just depressed about not being able to get a girlfriend.

http://www.gamespot.com/forums/topic/29284153/cops-attacked-my-friend-last-night-when-he-was-arrested-for-breaking-up-a-fight?page=1#msg_31

Read the entire thread, look at how many of them can't comprehend the reading material. Now look at the last comment, which is the mod's. Are you kidding me? How is he actually a mod, and that's a response to the thread? HAHA wow!!! Goodbye gamespot, it was fun. Although I should of left earlier. I've been coming here since I was 11, and I grew to love the stupidity of people on here but this has seriously opened my eyes. If you any older than 16(I'm 21 btw), I would suggest moving to a more intelligent forum. I'm heading to overclock.net for now, see ya!

it took me 50 seconds to write this post so my bad for any grammar, and spelling errors

Once again, entirely bullsh-t... If he was detained he had a right to a lawyer, if he didn't have a lawyer he could get a public defender... He would know all of this because they read him his Miranda Rights... If they did not then clearly they were in the wrong, but considering this entire story is bullsh-t I doubt it... The police do not simply beat people like that... Not anymore... Because they can't get away with it... If he received that kind of beating then his head and face would be bloodied, swollen, cut, etc... Not to mention that in every precinct in the nation there are video cameras that watch cells prisoners are detained in, thus there would be video of said event occurring...

I highly HIGHLY doubt that this 20 year old kid "who peacefully surrendered" would become the subject of a violent police outburst where police verbally and physically assaulted him while he was cuffed to bench and then covered it up by removing the security footage and denying his right to an attorney... This is all so far fetched it makes my eyes water.

Yea, that's what happens in a perfect world. But not ours, I've been arrested and half of that never happened. When you get older, you'll understand.

Half of what? I said they read you your Miranda Rights which is the only thing they do. Are you saying that you get arrested all the time and they never read you your Miranda Rights? Once again entirely bullsh-t...

And once I get older? I am 22. You act like the police are out to get you and violate your rights? I mean seriously come on... You say your friend "is that kind of drunk"... He is 20... The fact that he has been drunk and a not only that, but a mean drunk, multiple times before he is even old enough to legally drink in this country suggests to me that you and your friends are a bunch of idiots who are so full of sh-t its coming out your ears.

You obviously can't read well...D is 20, B(the one who is "that kind of drunk")isn't, I never stated his age. D is the one who was handcuffed to a bench and got attacked. Read. Re-read. Don't post until you understand. Okay?

Considering it's my friend who should be seeking advice, not really...I'm trying to give him ADVICE, which is why I came here asking for ADVICE. So I can help him out in that way.

I have been in such a situation. In my country you don't pay the fine and then there is automatic court in which you defend your case.

KungfuKitten

Which country are you from? I'm from the US, as I stated before.

[QUOTE="Ravensmash"][QUOTE="C2N2"]

What the guy said...

"

My one friend B was screaming and going nuts because he was drunk, and he is a bad drunk like that.

My other friend D, tried to calm him down until B hit D. So D beat up B (D is around 280, B is around 150lbs in weight)

So the cops were called on them, D left before they arrived and B ran away into someone's backyard while they were pulling up.

They found the one an hour later, and the other two hours later. By the time D was arrested he was completely sober, I could hear the officer screaming at him because I was on the phone with him, he hung up right after. These are all the' "official" details, my friend said he did resist arrest in any way. He actually walked up to the officiers.

Now from this, there's no reason the cops should of beat him up."

- Exigent Circumstance making the police cautious.

- A fight, as I said constitutes possible assault and battery.

- Police called and arrived, he "fled as the pulled up" - fleeing the scene of a crime.

- I am assuming that they weren't singing to him, and were giving him orders to do something which he ignored and thus constituted him resisting and thus the officers needing to subdue him.

And like I said, during all of this the guy was drunk and running away from the police... They didn't know a thing about anything... All they knew was the information their dispatchers gave them... Some concerned citizen called the police, (probably exaggerating things themself "omg these two guys are beating each other to death and screaming!")... They arrived at the scene to find the suspects had fled... For they knew his friend was high on drugs, had weapons, had committed other crimes prior to or after that crime...

LONG STORY SHORT HIS FRIEND IS AN IDIOT, WAS IN THE WRONG, AND CAN'T DO ANYTHING OTHER THAN STOP BEING AN IDIOT FROM NOW ON.

""I wasn't even in a cell they had me on a bench cuffed, they started chokin me, yellin in my face, kneeing my chest, smashin my head into the wall. It was unbelievable, everytime they hit me I was like sir I didnt do nothing whats your deal. They would just hit me again while saying shut the $$$$ up tough guy."" TC had always been referring to an incident AFTER the initial peaceful arrest.

Once again, entirely bullsh-t... If he was detained he had a right to a lawyer, if he didn't have a lawyer he could get a public defender...
