Apologies if I've posted in the wrong area.

Anyway, I have a real urge to get back into gaming (PS4), however every time I try a game these days, I find myself bored within a brief period of time. Even GTA and Arkham Knight felt stale to me, as I've probably just played too many of these types of games. What really sparks my interest now is somewhat realistic action-y games with many "unique" and atmospheric environments. For example, Hitman: Absolution really is one of my favourites, as each level introduces a new dynamic environment that is really exciting and enthraling. Even Call of Duty campaign modes are interesting to me at the moment, as the process of each mission being in different places of the world, in completing contrasting environments is enticing. i realise many perceive these games as "tacky" as they hand pick certain environments, but I am really looking for a game like this. Interestingly enough, the aforementioned GTA, and also uncharted, did not interest me at all, as the environment is reasonably constant. splinter cell blacklist and deus ex human revolution are also games I really enjoyed for their intriguing environments.

tl;dr looking for single player games where you are taken to diverse and interesting environments (eg Hitman absolution)
