I really liked the first Dead Space. The second one, well I don't know if the story will have any meaning if you haven't played the first one and it's also far more shooter-ish, where the first was more action/adventure IMO.

Got Project Cars GOTY edition for about $23 on Steam.
It's free on PC so I'll definitely get it. I only hope it doesn't leave me disappointed that it's not better than what you can currently get the game to look like with ENB mod's etc.
I've come to the conclusion that we'd be much better off without it. People used to have friends and you had to be civil to them or you wouldn't have any friends any more. Nowadays people don't develop those social skills at all. No wonder you see a group of kids in the mall and they're all ignoring each other and busy on their cell phones.
Worst of all though, look at this huge chunk of the population that spends all their time sitting in front of their computer typing about nothing with people they don't even know. What a complete waste of time.
Seriously? You'd be willing to give up that massive amount of information just in order to force people to try harder at making friends?
If they wanted social skills, then they'd develop social skills. No one's making them spend all of their time online, they simp,ly CHOOSE to do so once they have the option. Since when has "let's remove such options because they aren't for me" been a good thing? Lots of people don't like videogames either, but isn't that the exact same argument? Some jackass argues that society would be better without videogames because that keeps people from going outside and interacting with the world. Meanwhile, videogamers say, "**** that...if you don't like video games then that's fine, but I do and it's not a bad thing that the option exists."
Good grief, talk about a straw man argument. I said I think we'd be better off without it - nowhere did I say it should be banned.
And yes, I do think having friends and living a normal life is a lot more important than anything the internet has to offer.
Single player for me. I'm way too old to want to hang out with a bunch of high school kids online. Seems like half of them can't enjoy a game unless they're ruining it for everyone else. I like to get drawn into a story, with good characters, feel like I'm proceeding towards an exciting conclusion etc.

I'm to old to be drafted but I would very much enjoy seeing all these fragile snowflakes being sent off to war. probably get their butts kicked by Lichtenstein.
The first half of the PS3 era for me. A very wide variety of games in all the different genres; publishers had no qualms about releasing new IP's on a regular basis; single player was first and foremost.
Somewhere around the middle of that gen everything went multiplayer, if it wasn't an FPS either shut down the studio or else make it into and FPS and then shut down the studio when nobody buys it. New IP's? Well we've got one planned for 2021. And sell the first half of the game for $60 and then the second half for at least that much via DLC. And if it sells really well, maybe even fix most of the bugs. Eventually.
A 1080 for around $550 would be nice, otherwise I'm sure a 1070 would be all I need anyway.
We know virtually nothing about it. Until we get some actual information I can't even begin to make a prediction.
