Maybe not for you but it sure did for alot of angry, bigoted, degenerate men. Ghostbusters never had a chance.

Ehmm, the remake of Ghostbusters with an all-female cast did not stand a chance because it had a horrible cast and a horrible script not because it was all women. Same reason Ocean eight also failed, the story was shit, the script was shit, the cast however in O8 was at least relative decent but not even a Shakespearean trained actor could save the movie.

And of course, a proper director who took the job seriously and not tried to make a quick buck on the name,

EDIT: "stand a chance" is not entirely true, the movies did manage to make an ok profit, Ghostbusters made around 80mill and Ocean 8 made 220mill

@Jacanuk: As for why this one's particularly bad, this was the presumably-state-sanctioned murder of a journalist in an embassy. It'd be like Trump ordering the deaths of Washington Post journalists, but making sure they are killed in US embassies abroad so that they can't be properly investigated.

Political assassination of journalists is terrible, and will always kick up a storm in the media. Political assassination of joutnalists in a way that abuses the embassy system is even worse.

Anyway, in this case, papers around the world have argued that there is evidence this journalist was tortured and killed.

Over the last week, Trump's public comments have followed the train of "this murder needs a strong response...but the US economy can't afford to piss of Saudi Arabia...so let's blame this on a rogue faction of Saudis and avoid upsetting anyone".

Now, personally I don't think this case requires the US President to get involved (the sane parts of the world can figure out what to do), but his involvement is basically exonerating Saudi Arabia of the crime. He really just needs to shut up and let the adults handle it.

Well, I agree that this is bad because someone is murdered at a local embassy but honestly, I don´t think that is the first time nor is it the last time.

Also, I am not sure how political assassinations are worse than what happened in Britain with the 2 defectors or what happened in Mexico up to the election, over 100 politicians were murdered and you have not heard one single media outlet go berserk as they have with this guy, which is puzzling especially from the left side, how can they argue that we cut ties with Saudia Arabia when what happens right next door is so much worse and should be met with the same damnation. Oh, also let´s not forget China and what they did to the Interpol chief, he went to China and disappeared and do you think this guy is not being tortured? and also most likely will end up dead or be imprisoned for life or the hundreds and thousands of dissidents.

It´s that kind of hypocrisy that just screams to high heavens, Also how can anyone take a side serious or media seriously when they act like that.

So this seems to be more about Trump than anything else, and it seems to be the same ideology that allows for the rise of anti-Semitism among leftists.

And yes this should not even be a blip on anyone´s radar and especially not the president of any country in the west, this should be a media story on page 18 next to random car ads like the story about the Interpol chief or forgotten like the 100 murdered politicians or the thousands of murdered innocent people in Cuba.

Polygon is one of those far-left gaming media sites like Kotaku which no one should ever take seriously or even bother reading.

So, I was downloading "The Game of Life" for Android and I noticed it had a 1 star review left by some conservative gamers because in the game you have a choice to either marry a girl or a guy. I mean, wtf? Are the seriously triggered because of that.

The question I ask in this forum is simple: Should developers also not give you a same sex choice, because it might anger a group of people?

How do you know the review was done by a actual person and someone who may vote conservative?

But nice troll post and thanks for proving system wars are not 100% dead as to the more stupid posts.

Stretching it a bit are we Matt,

Our ruling

Rubio said Trump "hired from Poland and he had to pay a million dollars or so in a judgment."

It was Trump’s contractor, not Trump himself, who hired 200 undocumented Polish workers to demolish a building to make room for Trump Tower in Manhattan. Trump said he didn’t know. The lawsuit sought $1 million in damages, and a judge ruled that Trump had to pay $325,000 plus interest.

But the case was appealed and before it was retried, Trump settled the case out of court, so it’s unclear how much he ended up doling out.

Rubio’s statement is partially accurate but missing that context. We rate Rubio’s claim Half True."

Is it a debate? Is it REALLY?

It's generally someone who is ignorant and not half as smart as they (and their cohorts) think they are vs. pretty much everyone else with an ounce of common sense and scientific understanding.

To his credit, "Flat Earth Andrew" held his composure which is generally where the flat earthers fail; they make their arguments with too much passion, too much anger, and a total lack of logic and facts (duh), but Andrew kept calm for most of it (except for the Andy part lol).

Richard Garriott of course came out rationally and destroyed the flat earther, albeit civilly.

The hosts definitely seemed biased, though, very chummy with Garriott and cynical towards Andrew

Yup, from what I gather from the video this is not the first time those two have bumped heads and it seems like the host really dislike the guy.

But yea it was a rational debate from Garriott

No wonder you don´t see it that way, after all, it´s your side ;)

We were doing so well in that we'd finally found some common ground. I thought we could build off of that, but when you twist and flip flop to such a degree it throws any hope of actually progressing in a discussion out the window.

Did you read what you wrote? It entails logical jumps that would keep Indiana Jones at bay. But you can continue to believe that Democrats think wages are too high if you wish.

Ok, let´s just say then that immigrants are not helping the Democrats cause against the low wage.

You are correct the free market is not working here because it´s not playing by market rules, it´s like during a strike you have the scum who work anyways instead of thinking about the greater good.

That is why the government needs to hit harder and make these scum companies work by the rules.

Also, the problem is illegals do not complain when a company does not follow the health&Safety laws. So the company saves a ton of cash on that and also on wage. There are plenty of welders wanting the job if the pay and coniditions were up to the law and followed the market.

So why pay an American 30$ an hour when you can get 10 Mexicans for that price and also if they start to cause problems, you just call ICE and have them deported.

Eh, those companies can't really call ICE. Can they? Without exposing themselves I mean.

Sure they can,

They would not be fined if they are made aware of someone´s illegal status.
