Great idea! I would like to have the benefits of Steam on a console.

I appreciate the comments, thanks! Does anyone have any experiences with the Sennheiser PC 320?

Could you give a few reasons why the Sennheiser 320 is better than the other two or any other headset in its class?

Hey guys,

Firstly, I know that loads of people on the internet, and probably on this forum too, will recommend me a good pair of headphones and a separate microphone instead of a headset. The thing is, I only use the headset when I'm gaming with my friends and using Skype simultaneously. Whenever I'm gaming alone, watching a movie or listening to some music, I use my speakers. So using a separate microphone is a hassle, in my opinion. Having the microphone and volume controle all-in-one is just really convenient.

A few days ago, the microphone of my headset stopped working, so I started looking for a new headset. I had a Logitech headset, which had poor sound quality, but a very good microphone. My budget is around 60 euro (~78 dollars).

I've been looking around and these three headsets seem to be pretty good:

Sennheiser PC 320

Razer Carcharias

Creative HS-800 Fatal1ty Gaming Headset

Which of these three is the best? And are these the best bang for my buck or are there other and better options? :)

Awesome. It's good to see that they're still updating the game.

It's fun. That's why I play games, really. I don't play games a lot nowadays and when only playing a few hours every week and playing with friends, then TF2 is really fun.

Ah! I was afraid that they would really implement a system like this. I really dislike micro transactions in an MMO and this will probably stop me from buying this game. I'll probably wait until it's really cheap. Saves me money and a lot of time, I guess :P

I don't like it either, but if I had to choose between F2P and DLC I'll choose the lesser evil F2P every day.

The game is a huge timesink. It's great, but only if you have the time for it. I wouldn't do it.
