So, I am having trouble assigning a weapon to my left hand and a spell to my right hand with the same hotkey. If I highlight the weapon in the favorites menu and press the appropriate mouse button to assign it to my hand, then press the number 2, the weapon is assigned. However, I can then click on the spell, and assign it to the other hand. WHen I leave the favorites menu, it shows my character with the proper weapon and spell, but then I change to another combination, and press 2 to go back, the weapon has switched hands and the spell is gone. Am I doing something wrong?
Online only...who cares...
I think you can use the Home and End Keys to rotate.
Welcome home, son! You finally walked into the light and have been blessed!

Independence War 2 is the best for this. Freelancer is a good second.
It completely SUCKED!!!! Chris Taylor should be kicked in the crotch for serving as an "advisor" to Obsidian on this game. At the same time, Obsidian should have any licenses, contracts, verbal promises, or handshakes pulled for the CRAP they are trying to peddle.
How can these two, given all they have accomplished separately for PC Gaming (Total Annihilation, Fallout Series, Neverwinter Nights, Supreme Commander, Dungeon Siege, Baldur's Gate, Planescape Torment, and most of the best RPGs ever) even consider releasing this garbage. Talk about setting PC Gaming and RPGs back about 15 years!
Although the graphics are decent, if this is the best that the Cryengine can push compared to Crysis, then they have gotten very lazy. Remember the beautiful in game footage we were shown for the original Crysis, the mountains, hills, foliage, etc.? It was so much fun to shoot down trees and foliage, kick up a dust storm, break down street lamps, look at the sun, water and sky effect, setc. But this???? I realize it takes place in New York, but the street lights can stop a tank, trees don't move, buildings are generic, etc. It's like I am playing a better version of Gears of War or a dumbed down version of FEAR.
How about the graphics of Crysis, the AI of FEAR, and the immersion of Modern Warfare 1 and 2?
I am not saying it is a bad game, but after the first one, it is a letdown.
The definitive space sim that utilizes Newtonian Physics is Independence War 2. Even by today's standards, the story, graphics, ambiance, and open endedness is still fantastic. I believe that there are even some updates available to make some improvements. A great game!
