There is much speculation about how this is going to be deployed. However, from a business pov I believe they don't want to get rid of the PS3 just yet (it would be a kick in the balls for developers). Because of this, I don't think one will be capable of downloading complete games to the PS4, only pure streaming which in my opinion sucks, it FORCES people to be connected in order to play. However there are reports that say you can either buy games individually or pay a subscription to receive a whole library among other benefits, this is actually clever although it has not been confirmed. Now, what about the games we already paid for SONY??? and I mean the digital ones (It would be awesome if we could import the disc games but it is out of the question lol) Can we play or download the digital games we own on the PS3 into the PS4 ????
@Mr_Random91 I stated unoriginal because we have seen zombie games for a long, long time now. Yes the fungus thing is new, but the game is still viewed as a zombie apocalypse world. And I did not say it does not have plot twists I said they are not original, and because of that we can see them come from miles away. You are right about GTA being the fastest selling game of 2013 maybe the source I viewed was only for PS3 I have no idea. About Zelda I have yet to play that game so I can't comment on it. In any case, I think you belong to to the people who did not gave DotA 2 a chance because of its difficulty and believe me, I know it can get frustrating and unappealing when you first start but man once you understand it feels like baseball combined with basketball and MMA I can't completely explain it in pure letters. A reminder that a game does not have to be an interactive MOVIE to become "real gaming experience" as you stated. Again, I am in not saying TLAU is bad in any way (maybe some AI glitches) I loved it, it gave me emotions I had not felt since Guns of The Patriots but the satisfaction and blood pump you feel after a great TEAM FIGHT in Dota 2 is unmatched. I respect your opinion anyway cheers !
Well congratulations for TLOU in winning people's choice but I can't help to think this is because much MORE PEOPLE played the game it was the fastest selling game of 2013. To be fair the game is awesome even though it does not have an original story or plot twists. The game follows a pre-existing formula but it does it incredibly well and great fashion. Now for the other 2 strong contenders (Bioshock and GTA) they are the new iterations of their respective series GTA achieving a never before seen technical level as well as a huge world with tons of content, while Bioshock tells a somewhat original story with gorgeous art, colors and has nice game mechanics. Yes the 3 of them are great games but I still like DotA 2 above any of them because it is the BEST and WORST fun you will ever have in a multiplayer. The only downside of DotA 2 is that it does have one of the hardest and lengthiest learning curves in the history of videos games. But if you persevere and manage to understand the game you will LOVE the **** out of this great e-sport. Granted, the game is not for everyone some people enjoy games for their story and playing them alone in their house but if you like competitive multiplayer, NOTHING comes close to DotA 2.
