That really depends on what games you are going to be playing on your PC. See, my PC has ended up costing more than a PS3 and a 360 cause of all the added memory and graphics cards i had to stick in that thing to get my games running well. Also, computer programers are always looking to make the prettiest, biggest game, and in order to play those games, you need to upgrade your system...

Being a console gamer can be expensive too seeing as every game is between 50-60ish bucks and with a whole gaming library...thats...alot of cash...

I don't know...gaming in general is an expensive hobby...
