The Elder Scrolls Online

by on

I've never been much for MMO games, however, I've found myself getting more and more excited with every sliver of new info that leaks out. I've always been a huge fan of the ES games, so it makes since that i'd be interested in this one. And since it is going to be on the XboxOne, I'll be throwing down some cash for it. The subscription is a little steep, IMO, but that $15 can be saved by eating out 1 or 2 times less a month. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

Anyone else getting this game?

Injuries in the NFL

by on
Noticed there has been alot of major injuries since they started training camps in the NFL. I'm a Carolina Panthers fan, through and through. So far we've had 3 major injuries, 2 of which are season ending. Blah. Both were to be key contributors. Argggh. [/rant]

Football... YES

People say pre season football isn't really football. Whatever. Whether the games count or not, I'm loving it. So glad it's that time of year again.

This is a snip-it from a conversation me and another manager were having today. Me: "Hmm.. wow dude. Amy Winehouse was found dead..." Him: "Yeahh...Guess she should have went to rehab..." Classic. Not to make fun of anyone's death, It was just ironic.

Surprisingly good game

Just finished up the game Singularity and I have to say, I was quite impressed. Now I had very little expectations coming into the game, so that might have helped. Not going to get into details, but the game has a very good story, decent graphics, and pretty solid gameplay. For anyone looking for a solid single player experience, check this game out.

I manage my own electronics store. The shopping center where I'm located is primarily populated by store that are 90% visited by women. Especially women over the age of 50 years. I have nothing against the older demographic. However, they don't help me pay my bills. hah I'm an electronics store. That plus this shopping center doesn't really equal awesomeness. unfortunately i don't have a say in the matter. So, i'll accept it. I guess that just means i have more time to do nothing and fart around on GameSpot forums. Joyous.

Locked Out

Just a quick note: Does anyone else think the NFL lockout was more of a marketing campaign to try and generate more interest in the sport? Kind of seems like it. Funny how it went from "Far from agreeing" to "Ready to sign a new CBA" in a matter of days. Well played Goodell, well played.

Work, Divorce, more work..WHAT A YEAR! :)

Hmm... Yet again its been a while since i've written in this blog. But might as well while ive got some free time at work. All I can say is, Im free at last. No long am I bound by the grip of marriage. Im a divorced man. Guys and Gals, don't marry the first person you fall in love with. love is blind and only after you make that life long commitment will you find out the true person you married. Im not perfect, but she turned out to be the total opposite of what i wanted. But it didnt matter in the beginning. Make sure you know someone, truely know them, inside and out before you commit to that person. With that said, my gaming has picked up significantly. :) Subscriptions to both Gamefly and Netflix, along with a lot of parties, have brought me back to where i was before and Im super excited to be single again.

Blogging Again? Meh. Maybe.

Been a few years since I've been an active membere here on Gamespot. And odds are that this won't be seen by many people. Where as I haven't kept up with anyone else on here. But for those who do get a chance to read this, thank you. To make a long story short, I've been married, seperated, and now on the cusp of divorce in just a matter of two years. Sacrificed alot, got little in return. But that is the way life goes. And i'm happy to be back to my gaming ways once again. It's been a while since ive been a very active gamer. It's been a long time but im finally back. And it's nice to be myself without having to worry about what someone thinks about me when I pick up a controller. But in a nutshell, thats where i've been, and now im back. Hope to you read the blogs from the remaining friends i have on here and hope to make new ones as well.

EXPLOSION! (Not really)

I had a box delivered to my house. For what? Simple. It is the final resting place for my 360. That's right, the preverbial 360 coffin came in. Hopefully the boys down in Texas can do some good ol' Frankinstein miracle. Which reminds me of Al Michaels' famous call at the 1980 Olympics where team USA defeated Team Soviet Union. If my 360 returns, and works, I can just hear myself saying, "DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?? YES!!". My mother is getting Remarried this Saturday the 21st. Kinda not too thrilled by its all good. This house will be all mine and i'll be living alone for the first time. It'll be kind of tough to get use too. 20 year old college student with a minimum wage job doesnt exactly scream financially sound. But oh well, I'll get by. It would be much much better if my 360 was here to help eleviate the boredum that I am overcome with. Oh well, just thought i'd update and let you guys who read blogs know what is up with good ol' JC. You guys take care.
