No I'm very happy to not have to pay to play online. I don't get to play very much online and having to pay a monthly fee would suck for me. Same reason I never bothered to try WoW.
Overall game play is most important than graphics, Killzone 2's got a pretty solid single player campaign and it's multiplayer is pretty awesome. In one match you get to play different objectives where as you only play one type of objective per match in other fps games. The graphics in Killzone 2 is just the icing on the cake.

I have the 40GB. Is that ok? The reason why I'm asking is because I want Gradius V and R-Type Final. There won't be another R-Type and it's one of my favorite shooters.
No sorry the 40gb model has no PS2 support, maybe you could get a PS2 new for $130 or maybe even less. I have a 40gb PS3 also and had no plans to play any PS2 games but I'm starting to change my mind. I've seen a PS2 on sale @ Target one time for $99!
