The PS3 is much more advanced than the Xbox 360 or the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo Wii is intended to be a fun system designed specifically for young children, it also can be used to excersize. I believe Nintendo added the motion sensor to their new console so people can get up and excersize other then be lazy and be a couch potato. Other from the Wii, the 360 is a great system, although I have the PS3 because I believe the PS3 is true next-gen. The 360 still carries old technology such as DVD. It doesn't even have an HD DVD reader, the disks are still DVD. So Xbox 360 isn't even HD DVD. PS3 carries a build in Blu-Ray reader, which reads Blu-Ray movies and games. It also can play almost every format of disks in its Blu-Ray Drive. PS3 is capable of playing scratched disks, I know this because my dad was watching 24 on my DVD player and it didn't work, but on PS3 it worked perfectly. Also the PS3 processor is much more powerful and advanced compared to the 360 processor. The PS3 processor has 7-3.2GHZ core processors built inside the system, comparing to only 3-3.2GHZ processors build into the Xbox 360. This means that the PS3 is much more precise and powerful\quicker then the 360. Other then the power of the two systems, the PS3 also has much more accesories built into the system. Such as Wi-Fi (only on 60GB) flash slots (60GB) HDMI output, 4 USB ports, built in Blu-tooth, internal hard-drive in both versions of the PS3 unlike the Xbox only having a hard drive on the Premium Xbox. The PS3 also has a heat-sensored button to turn the system on which I find is cool and new. The PS3 also has the SIXAXIS controller which is capable of motion sensing in games, such as racing you can tilt the controller to turn the car instead of using the analog. The PS3 is also much more quiet then the Xbox 360, and the Xbox 360 often overheats and freezes, whereas the PS3 doesn't. The Xbox 360 was launched with much more major problems then the PS3, and it even has cases of burning down peoples houses. Also, the 360 has that huge ugly brick on the power chord, but the PS3 has that built inside the system. Also other then the actual console itself, PS3 has much more features such as an internet browser, Linux, free online, free downloads (demos, videos, trailers, etc.). The PS3 is also capable of connecting to the PSP and using the PSP as a controller, or a screen. More USB decises are recognized on the PS3 then the 360. The PS3 can also connect up to 7 wireless controllers. In the end, the PS3 is even cheaper then the 360, considering if you want an HD DVD player which is not built in 360, but Blu-Ray is built in PS3, if you buy wireless controllers that don't come with the Core system, a 20GB hard drive which is a smaller hard drive then the PS3, and the core Xbox doesn't come with a hard-drive. The PS3 20GB has just as much features and capabilities as the Xbox Premium console, and it even has Blu-Ray and its only $60 more, its worth the extra bucks. In the end, I don't want to discriminate Xbox fans, but I'm with Playstation because I believe they treat there customers with more respect and they spent more time on their product. Plus I could use the extra features. 360 is also a great system but it doesn't ful-fill the true next-generation console. Thank you and consider all of this when buying a new console.
